It's a fantastic-looking suit from a series filled with fantastic-looking suits. I raise my glass in salute to Turn-A; it's one of my favorite Gundam series ever.

I've always loved the Gogg. Outside of the idea of a walking submarine being pretty cool, it was an absolute delight to use in the PS2-era Gundam games like Federation v. Zeon. With its lumbering gait and adorable belly laser - that was surprisingly powerful - it just has this charm to it.

Always loved the Hygogg. From first playing it in Gundam Crossfire and seeing some of War in the Pocket's best scenes feature it the Hygogg is absolutely one of Zeon's coolest suits.

Yooooo! New Kakarot Dev history? Don't mind if I do! :) Is there any lore about decomissioned mobile suits and all the various machines that weren't destroyed in battle but by rapid technical advancement? Cause as many grunts as we see die - it's not like every MS gets destroyed in battle. I'm wondering if there were like MS "graveyards" like military equipment gets irl sometimes or even like we see in Star Wars - massive efforts to deconstruct stuff to repurpose the materials elsewhere. Another thought - did the Earth have massive radiation contamination on top of everything else after the OYW and beyond? You know, with NUCLEAR powered machines exploding like fire crackers for a few decades? Bonus points for how hard you tried to work the Kapool in. XD

The Capule (Kapool) is the one MS we got really close to getting a HG, but was scrapped Bandai released an NG way back when and its alright, but the Momokapool HG from the Build series, features some runners written as Capule, hinting at a possible MS, that was indeeed, never made

i suspect Kapool is the Capule that underwent similar Miniaturization process that occurred during F90-F91 era. but since its an aquatic MS, its internal space was already streamlined. so what it gained was a more smaller reactor but equal power and space for propellant tanks that allowed it to work in space. who made these smaller Capule/Kapool? probably Bespa. but as with the OYW, there's probably divisions in Bespa/former SNRI. it would explain why there's the Shokew/rig Shokew vs the zolo, zoloat/tomliat and favoring the Zansacre design, they used those less reliable aquatic MS, Galguyu based on the Albigor.

I always loved using the Gogg in Gundam Federation vs Zeon as while the mega particle cannon didn't have much punch the torpedoes did and I had a much easier time than I did with the Z'Gogg.

Notice how the Federation tended to use Human looking designs or at least clearly Technological ones. Zeon tended to look more alien or monstrous. I don't think it's a coincidence.
