@@chahelkumar7654 funny enough many volleyball players have agree they learned some things from haikyuu and students participating in Japan's volleyball club spiking after haikyuu manga started.
a lot of you probably already know this, but higashiyama's #1 is ran takahashi, and currently plays for japan's national team and kioene padova in the superlega

If this was an anime arc, it would probably take like a season with a least 15 episodes.
It's just Haikyuu without us hearing them say "Don't mind" "One touch" "Nice serve" or "Chance ball"

I guess Japanese high school volleyball really is like Haikyuu, way better than Canadian high school volleyball!
@BluePeach02145 жыл бұрын
Yup, amongst other current sports anime Haikyuu is definitely the most realistic one. Furudate-sensei actually goes and see a lot of games and research a lot before he draw the manga.

i dont think many Highschool sports teams in Canada are that good. Most of the talented players choose to play in leagues outside of school.
This is a good angle. You can really see the trajectory of the ball, which you often don't see on TV.
@ellybarretto62485 жыл бұрын
The angle shows how good their serves are like those jump float serves. Reminds me of Yamaguchi.

Too bad I can’t do line shots. I’m a libero and my travel volleyball team. Though that’s mostly because of my short stature and also, I like the feeling of getting a really good receive.

The amount of jump serves in one set is astounding :0
@arthurmelo30223 жыл бұрын
The thing is that jump serve is not hard, if you can spike you can jump serve People who came from haikyu thinks they are hard because just some of them jump serve on the show
@Pezinteresante3 жыл бұрын
@@arthurmelo3022 actually jump serves can be tricky form wise- the timing, toss, and hit needs to be accurate. That especially applies during zone serving. I’ve been working on my jump serve for two years now just to get it consistent. Sure, spiking can be similar but it’s definitely easier as form doesn’t matter ~as~ much. I’ve seen liberos that are better at serving than hitters, despite not even hitting themselves. 2 very different things. Additionally there’s different variants of a jump serve (top spin, side spin, float) and there’s really only one way to hit.
@arthurmelo30223 жыл бұрын
@@Pezinteresante I mean, they are easy to hit but hard to master And even the worst jump serve is better than a basic serve that ends up just being a "chance ball"
@aloysiusdevadanderabercrombie83 жыл бұрын
@@arthurmelo3022 This is completely incorrect. 1) The jump serve is possibly one of the hardest single techniques to pull off in sports, as it combines four aspects of the sport that are themselves nontrivial: approach, arm swing, toss, and perfect timing. It sounds easy enough but actually doing it well takes years of practice. 2) "Even the worst jump serve is better than a basic serve" - This right here is the stupidest statement I've ever heard someone make about serving. If your jump serve isn't going 50+ mph, it simply is too predictable and too easy to receive. Any half-decent float serve will be far harder to pass and will net far more aces. 3) In my experience, people who come from haikyuu are the ones who think jump serves are easy, and they try to learn them as soon as they start playing.
@sapharts3 жыл бұрын
@@aloysiusdevadanderabercrombie8 I have to agree with you. I've been playing for a while now and people tend to instantly want to learn jump serves when a simple float serve works better 99% of the time
