Thanks for taking the time to do this. I replaced the bulbs on my old car with these exact bulbs and they lasted for 4 years, I don't do a lot of night time driving !!. I will be making this change on my ZS EV soon.

Thanks for the video. Ordered the Osrams that you recommend which arrived today. I installed them straight away and twiddled my thumbs until it became dark. Winter here so didn’t have to wait long. Difference in light output is really obvious. Fiddly job as access is cramped but worth it.

Brilliant, thanks! I’ve just bought some of these bulbs after struggling through winter with the standards on my MG5, but was a bit wary about fitting them myself - feel a little more confident now!! X

Mg ZS Ev Sept 2021 - Philips 65W Halogens - dismal light - missed a turn off on a dual carriageway. Changed to Osram 60W Night Breaker laser - IMO the brightness is about 75% more.

My MGZS EV is 70 plate sept 2020. The bulbs in my car are Phillips 65w. I've tried some of the bulbs you recommended and not much difference. Perhaps bulbs in late 2020 cars have upgraded bulbs. Find your videos interesting thankyou

Hard to tell on the footage, but I'll take your word for it as you are very persuasive. As you say, it's worth the cost which is negligible in the big scheme.
@mcdon24013 жыл бұрын
Pretty much anything replacing those original bulbs will be better. In the owners manual, the part number for the bulb is (I believe) HB3 60W LL. They claim the LL is for Long Life (which it probably will be), but I think of it more like Low Light...its woeful. Amazing what a difference a few quid makes. And in the grand scheme of things, a new set of bulbs wouldn't even cost as much as a tank of fuel for an ICE. It's madness not to make a change.

I just bought an MG ZS recently and I'm looking at changing the headlights. I really like the change you made but I'm looking for more of a cool white, similar to the running lamps, would you have any recommendations?
@GoGreenAutos2 жыл бұрын
Some go with LEDs, but I don't think its worth it as not technically legal (an MoT failure if they notice). My recommendation is to stick with halogen and these OSRAM Night Breaker Laser bulbs are excellent and always do well in the AutoExpress product tests.

Might get those bulbs for my wife's R56, it has candles as standard.

Hi , I have change to the bulbs you recommend, they are much brighter , however I have noticed that the passenger bulb shines off to to left, did you need to make any adjustment after fitting these bulbs thx for your help 😊

No I didn't. They do seem to be setup to light up the side of the road well.

@@GoGreenAutos , if I need infron of the drivers light nearer enough head on , I get blinded as expected, however if I do the same with passengers side, I need to move quite a bit to right (curb side) , to get the same result. Just wondered if this was correct, or does it need realignment?? Thx
@GoGreenAutos3 жыл бұрын
@@adrianharvey4746 Hey? Not making much sense. If your new bulbs are fitted properly (i.e. flat and locked/twisted in place correctly) then you shouldn't need any headlight adjustment if the light assemblies themselves haven't been removed or the adjust screws played around with.

Can tell the new bulbs are a whiter light, and they do project a bit further - but, you still have that massive void of light to the front and offside I don’t have that on my Hyundai Either you have an issue on your car, or the MG in general has an issue Definitely a better result though

@GoGreenAutos3 жыл бұрын
Correct. I saw that in these videos. If you have halogen bulbs, you must stick with halogen and not use HIDs or LEDs as that is now an instant MoT failure. These OSRAM bulbs are legal and for road use and completely fine to use.
