In the original manga, Vegeta was the only one who supported Gohan, but in the anime, all the Z warriors including Piccolo supported him, and this was an all-out war, which was a very nice anime arrangement!

Dragon Ball Z is by far my number one anime of all time, and what I really love about it is like when they power up everybody in their life at some point, has felt the anger in the sadness and you just want to release it all at one time and scream your lungs out like they do but obviously you're not going to power up. This was truly the peak of the dragon ball franchise it never got better than this. Cell has to be the most well-written, executed, and well-themed villain ever. Everything from Vegeta overcoming his pide/ego to help the son of the goku , Cell's expression when he first starts disintegrating is one of the most haunting death faces in any anime, because he did not at all expect Gohan to be able to do it and truly believed that he was invincible, Gohan's story finally come full circle from his very first introduction to the series. Truly a masterpiece of story telling that the franchise (DBZ) failed to eclipse. It still has epic moments beyond this but not to the same degree as cells death.

The final destruction of Cell along with his bioprocessor and he will never be reborn again. Gohan is completely exhausted but at the same time happy that he defeated the bioandroid along with the spirit of his own father and his energy. The wrestling for the largest kamehama lasted for a very long time, almost the entire episode, it definitely dragged on too long. Gohan was helped by the warriors of Z Tien, Yamcha, Piccolo and even Vegeta who apologized for the first time in the previous episode who secretly respected Gohan from everyone.

I love the next arc. Not as much as this one. To me this is the best it ever got. But I love what comes next because of how bat💩 crazy it gets. Like DBZ on LSD at times. If this arc is a rollercoaster the next one is like that ride where you spin around so fast they drop the floor and you stick to the walls. Different style, but still a lot of fun, but like the real thing not quite for everyone.

Nothing but pure epicness legendary moments Gohan walking while destroying perfect Cell. Goku's spirit in the background is fantastic, and I said it once I'll say it Perfect Cell is the best villain he pushed everyone. It was a team effort to take him down. Loved the conversation Goku and Gohan had. GOKU: LET GOHAN DO IT NOW!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 And I love that the other Z Fighters came to Gohan's Aid I said this before they looked at him like a little brother. At this point they were all his big brothers protecting him. Especially when Goku brought this idea in the beginning in the first place. All of them were pissed off even Vegeta who was questioning Goku's judgment at that point. And good for Yamcha he gets crapped on a lot but he has always been there for his friends.

I can honestly say, this IS the craziest, most anxiety inducing, greatest episode ever in DBZ. And there are many of them, but something about this coming of age moment for Gohan and everyone helping to destroy the most tacious and smartest villian ever makes this one special. You MUST watch og Dragon Ball after Z because you can't understand what the Z fighters are saying when they attacked Cell all together. Yamcha and Tenshinhan were enemies before becoming this duo. Even Krilin was bad with Son Goku when they were kids. Dragon Ball is the beginning of all this stunning adventure. Without it you miss a lot of the basics. Anyway Cell is finally defeated but it's still not the end of the saga

NOW THIS IS THE BEST EPISODE! BEST MOMENT!!! All the Z Fighters went in for that, they were ready to die for sake of the Earth as that's what Goku would've done. Piccolo obviously going in with no fear! I wish it was presented like in original idea of Sensei Akira Toriyama (or who ever was responsible for drawing this episode) with Earth's Special Forces being side by side with Gohan and adding their blast to the Kamehameha wave like it's happening in one of the DBZ Movies (if you watched you know which one I mean here) 🥲 Love the dress code... for all the fallen Heroes here... #16, Trunks & Goku 🔥🔥🔥 It (again!) was about to be the end of the series but it turned out to be different :D it kinda is the end.. of something with this Saga but i'm not gonna spoil the fun and that last battle was "hurray!" to some of our Heroes
