Alexandra Pagan Ah I see, I mean it would have been nice to see him fight but I can't think of a reason to really be there. However, this Universal Arc is where they can really bring out Gohan. The thought that his wife and child could lose their lives along with his should more than enough motivation for him to get stronger. If there was a moment for him to shine again this arc is it.

At 2:38 , Black speaks of another Gohan he defeated. That Gohan was clearly weaker than this Gohan. Could Black be referring to the Gohan he killed in a what if animation by Hyourinjutsu? That would be awesome. Also, Black got to the other Gohan's world through the banned method of "timeline travel". He tells our Gohan not to worry about it, since mortals shouldn't concern themselves with time travel. The Gohan Black killed achieved ssj3, not mystic. All I'm saying is that it makes sense.
