Didn't even bother going to get the backstraps for the campfire the day you killed em. Playin that water drama up like you weren't a half mile from refilling the whole time was cool, too.

Aoudad, also known as Barbary sheep, are sheep that are native to North Africa. They are not native to Texas, but were first introduced to the United States around 1900. In 1950, they were imported from the arid mountain ranges of Northern Africa to Texas as exotic game and to provide additional hunting opportunities. In 1957, 31 aoudad were released in the wild in Texas, southwest of Claude in Armstrong County.

Clearly they didn't. They left those goats lay for 12 hours before they even went to get them. They didn't have any meat in camp ,and at 11:00 you can watch the dude lie right to the camera about packing out meat. Watch his eyes when he says it, you can tell. Skulls and part of the hide is all they ever bother with, just like all these skinny ass clickhunters. Think about it: both of those goats weighed probably 300 lbs. Say that's a hundred lbs of meat off eqch one, maybe 80 if they're picky. Each of those heads probably weighs 30+ I'd imagine, those are big ol horns and they're not dry. Plus capes, so double that. Did they look like they were carrying 80 extra lbs each on the way out?

300 lbs and you’re hauling out maybe 30lbs of meat and a head. Did you go back for meat? I’m hoping so.

You want goat meat that laid in the desert for 30 hours? They're not going back, they took backstraps, capes and horns. Like they mostly all do.

@@camojoe83 I would have packed it out the night I shot it. Who let’s an animal lay there with its guts in overnight like that? Goat makes great burgers some of the best I have had. Those old billys might not. Cougar tastes good, kinda like duck.
@camojoe83
@camojoe83 11 ай бұрын
@@FredNeck-z4u when they're sitting around the fire without fresh tenderloin you knew what was coming. Watch dudes eyes when he's talkin about stuff at around 11:00 .. you can see it plain as day when he gets to the meat part. He knew he was lying, couldn't even keep eye contact with the camera.
@camojoe83
@camojoe83 11 ай бұрын
@@FredNeck-z4u old goat or not, a little smoking and then a spicy rub before a rotisserie session and you'd never know it. You'd be packing pita breads with it like everyone else at the table.

5:10 did he mis-speak or does he dial for his wind? Since wind is so dynamic it's way better to hold, especially with the reticle in that scope.
@brady_j_miller
@brady_j_miller 11 ай бұрын
I dial for windage all the time. I know there are some who say holding is better, and being dynamic can make it tricky to just hold, but I still just dial. I practice both ways, but I just trust myself to dial and then re-dial.
