Totally nailed it! This past season, I redid my med kit and started carrying a backup release, tarp, and micro spikes. I dropped my favorite release during an antelope stalk. It was a thumb release and my backups were hinge and index releases. Neither draws and anchors like the thumb, so when I bought a new release and determined it was the right one, I immediately bought another of the same! I can lose the original and the backup is setup identical, so I don't miss a beat.

This is the kind of mentality that leads you to a 50 pound pack weight. Probably half of this stuff is not needed. The best way to save weight is to not bring things it’s kind of insane that this guy is making videos and hasn’t figured that out yet

@@Terpedup925 my packs for a week long trip with food and water included are usually in the 65 to 80lbs range during gun season. And i dont bring hardly any of the stuff on his list, although i will add a rangefinder battery. I cant imagine adding anymore weight. They are good ideas though
