I am well into Mark's E-Scouting course. Highly recommended, even if you think you have it dialed there are great nuggets.

how do you access the course?

This e scouting platform sure makes the paying customer do a lot of legwork. In some regard, even more work than doing it outside of gohunt. I'm really starting to find it difficult for me to justify $150 annual membership to something that arguably makes the user put more effort into creating a map than an analog version.

Very generous of Mark to share these tidbits of information, his wealth of knowledge and confidence in his system makes me want to invest more time in his program. Great job guys/gals of the Gohunt team.

You said you like the drainages to have north facing slope. Could you expound why that is? Maybe a dumb question.....

I believe the actual face, or slope of the hillside or mountainside, is facing north, northwest or northeast. During archery season, it is my understanding the weather tends to be warmer and elk seek the north side to thermoregulate (keep cool).
