"Both shots were money!" I'm sorry, but that first one was right in the guts, might have hit a back ham on the exit. Deer don't hunch up like that if they're hit in the vitals. Not faulting you for the shot- things happen. But don't sell it as a good shot- that was most certainly NOT "money".

I watch a lot of hunting videos. One person I follow in particular has similar videos to this one. What I like about this video is it shows some of the grit it takes to find the perfect buck. A lot of times the video only shows the end result. I like watching the hard work parts. Hiking and glassing and hiking some more. I have hunted with people that completely miss bucks because they do not glass enough. I also I can vouch for Browning Firearms, only buy and shoot Browning for 25 years now.

We just did a two week, 4500-4800 mile, eleven state road trip...Colorado was king for Mules in velvet! Even beat out Yellowstone and the midwest. Getting the bow ready for this years rut! Thanks guy's, as a post below states, this is the perfect cure for 111 degrees.

Outstanding film. I was born in Colorado and watching Chris and Brandon hunt transported me back in time. I really enjoyed the pace of the video. It moved smoothly throughout the hunt which kept the film interesting . Although I won't be hunting in Colorado this year, I will be hunting in Idaho beginning Oct 15. This will be my second trip to the Salmon Challis National Forest . The only thing that could make two weeks there even more pleasurable would be to show up at camp with either of these Browning rifles.

Congrats on capturing great film footage during this hunt! I'm now even more pumped for my mule deer hunt with my 12yo son, who was also blessed with his first mule deer tag for the same unit in northeastern Nevada. My neighbor absolutely loves his Browning X-Bolt Hells Canyon Long Range in 6.5 PRC! These seem to be an ideal caliber for this type of wide open western terrain. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to find out for ourselves this season.
