Out of all the go hunt films this one brings out the most emotions. Most of my life well into my early twenties I resented my dad for many reasons that I won’t get into, however it was a hunting trip in 2015 where I forgave my dad for everything. This was also my first time hunting. I didn’t even go for the hunt, i just went for my sake because i needed to forgive him for me. Ever since that day me and my dad talk almost everyday and have gone hunting 7 years in a row. Rewind back to March 9th, 2022 a day before this video was posted my first child was born @05:44. I can’t help but think of all the great adventures me him and his grandpa will hopefully one day god willing will go on. Hunting is so much more than just taking an animals life. Being with the people you love surrounded with the best possible crowd and scenery is unbeatable. I wish everyone could experience this at least once in life because there’s nothing else like it.

Grew up in a concrete jungle. No one in my family hunts. Picked up hunting in my 30’s. I’m still in my 30’s. Learned what I know in Hunter education classes and KZbin. What I would give to have what this kid has! It’s simply beautiful!

Trail, I watch you all at GoHunt religiously. This video "Young Buck" has to be my favorite. It reminds me of two sons when they were younger. Hunting with your kids is what hunting is all about. To pass on the heritage and build incredible memories. This was a very heart-felt hunt. Landon, you're so very fortunate to have a Dad like Trail. Always a fan . I can't wait to see more videos like this. Gohunt kicks ass!

I grew up hunting with my dad, but due to business and time constraints, we weren't able to do as much as I got older in high school. I kinda fell out of hunting in late high school and college, but thanks to him and KZbin, I've been getting back into it. Now I've got a once in a lifetime Arizona elk hunt coming up this fall that he and I are gonna do together. He's getting a bit older, but I can't wait for those weeks to spend time with him that I haven't been able to have for a while. Thanks for the inspiration, GoHunt! And congrats on that deer!

I am 16 and when I’m hunting I just want to get out and pound it just give it all I got hike up the steepest ridge or go the farthest. But when your hunting with older family that doesn’t always happen. I have to catch myself from getting angry or frustrated and say to myself hey their not going to be around forever so you better live these hunts like you want to remember in the future. Love y’all at gohunt thanks.

It’s awesome to see these father/son interactions. The little bets and competitions, alongside letting him make his decisions will go far with Landon. These are memories he’ll cherish in the later years, particularly camping with all the bells and whistles, and smoking a nice buck too. Good for y’all.

While I dont have kids of my own, thus year was very special to me. I got to take my 25 year old niece deer hunting. She hadn't been in almost 8 years, due to school commitments and the draw process. Opening day we filled her tag, and I couldnt have been more proud. Then the last day of season I was able to take a friend and his 7 year old son out. That morning I filled my tag, and realized that was the first animal he's ever seen harvested. It took me back to the days when I got to go along, and the men who helped me become what I am today.

The best parts of the film are the interactions between them. The hunt and the kill are great, but those interactions are what it’s all about. With one kid already out of the house I cherish that time.

The hunts with your dad when you’re young bring back the best memories, for me hunting became a lifetime of passion and obsession and I can’t thank my dad enough for introducing me to hunting I couldn’t imagine a different type of lifestyle. This not only reminds me as a son hunting with my father but hunting as a father with my son and then hunting with my granddaughter. Those experiences cover 4 generations and more than 5 decades in my family. Of those 3 experiences the most fun I've had is hunting with my granddaughter and seeing her smiles and excitement.

Absolutely loved this video. Your son reminded me a lot of myself in those videos. I would go out fishing all day with my father and he absolutely loved it even though half the time I was just laying around on the boat sleeping, playing games, messing with phone, and wondering when it was time to go home. Now those are some of my most cherished memories. I guarantee moments like these will be your sons most cherished and the stories he will tell his grandkids.

As a father I can relate, my fondest memories are taking my kids hunting and fishing. When they were young, I told them it was like hunting with a D8 cat lol, but they soon got better, and harvested their own animals. My son is seven, he’s been reeling in his own fish since before he could talk. My father started me hunting at 11 when I could finally hold and shoot his 12ga in IN. I think in the west my son can come with me on some easier tags even earlier. This year I have enough points to get an Antelope doe tag, early season, lots of road glassing, and minimal pack out. Sounds like a great hunt to share.
