Hook Office Hong Lu is my favorite ID in the game! He's the first ID I ever did a solo run with back in the day, so he's got a special place in my heart for that too. Hook Office Hong Lu is actually pretty interesting, as his actual stats are kinda bad on initial inspection, almost base ID bad. He has -3 Defense Level, +1 Offense Level on his S1, +2 on his S2, and +3 on his S3. He also has fairly low health at 187 at lvl 50, or 175 at lvl 45 in the dungeon. What makes him so good is his 16 rolling S2 and S3, which are fairly strong for a 00 ID, alongside his great status infliction. I suppose this goes to show that the stats of an ID are not what purely decide how good they are, it's how they work in practice that determine their strength. I'd been using him in my bleed team since before I learned how Offense Level and Defense Level worked, and even after learning I still never read his stats until recently.

I always find ids that are vastly nore powerful than what they are based on very funny because it's usually the opposite Like hook lu being 100% able to destroy hook office in 2 turns and chef ryoshu and gregor quickly butchering the pierre's bistro counterparts
