Going back to Inner

My second Mongolian wrestling competitive season is about to begin. Thanks to all my teachers and mentors, training partners, students, and opponents. 🙏 I appreciate you all! Wish me luck!
In 2018 I visited Mongolia and Taiwan to better understand Bökh and Shuai Jiao. In 2020 I moved to Taiwan to learn Shuai Jiao. In 2023 I went to China's Inner Mongolia to compete in Mongol Naadams and came away inspired. I attended winter training camp Dec 2023 - Jan 2024. Now, it's June 2024 and I'm going back to compete in the summertime tournaments. 💪
You guys follow me for different reasons. You may know me as the "Kung Fu guy" who has real fight skills and can explain TCMA... you may know me as the guy who is keen to explore the blade cultures and headhunting past of Asia's islands.. some may even know my passions for machete fencing and the warriors of the Amazon... But of all the folk fighting styles, the arts of Mongol Bökh and Shuai Jiao, these dominant forms of wrestling and the martial culture associated with them, are such an enormous part of my journey and have taken me through some of the most difficult trials of my Wandering. My already formidable perseverance and warrior spirit has been tested and strengthened even more in the last 4 years, and I look forward to doing incredible things with my will, the story I'm writing with my actions, and with your support.
