Des!!! Proud Chicagoan here. Here are some of my favorite places: Pizza: Phil’s Pizza on 35th Mexican: Chilango’s, Chela’s, Cocula’s, Tacotlan (I don’t know many others because my grandpa makes the best at home) Hood Food: Harold’s on 87th (6 piece comes with fries and ask for mild sauce and lemon pepper on everything), Tony’s on 95th, or BaBas (I like gyro or gyro cheeseburger with mild sauce and lemon pepper) Docks has the best fish sandwiches IMO Italian Beef: AL’s BEEF or Portillos! But it won’t taste right if it’s not dipped well with mozzarella and HOT peppers to me. Romantic date: Eddie V’s or Perry’s Steakhouse. These are just my favorites, I’m not saying they’re the absolute best but I wanted to help you find great food. I’m sorry for your loss!!

Des, I'm really sorry about your brother. We lost my youngest brother at 19 yr old in 2022, and grief was rough. Please take care of your gut health. With my brother's passing, I didn't eat much the first months, then I ate junk food, and my body was hurting. 😢. The healing of the heart is a long process, but take care of yourself ❤ prayers for your family.

We had the most snow I've ever seen in my life here in New Orleans. I, along with most of Louisiana, couldn't believe the amount of snow that we got here. It stopped snowing, but there is at least 6 inches or so still sitting on the ground outside.

museum of science and Industry is big but very interesting it has a section for children with LoGos fun for kids. Really interesting. Ask for Thin crust pizza is better than deep dish pizza is too much cheese.
