HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

This is a food review that goes deeper than stuffing your mouth. The way the woman asked you for water, the way you shared your huge luxury meal. It puts a deeper meaning to food. We are blessed to have food and drink at our leisure. Thanks for your true authenticity.

I went that area 20 years ago, butuo, jinyang, zhaojue. Looks like nothing much has changed. That pork is called tuotuorou. Sometimes they have a small pig and a lamb in the same huge pot. Not much seasoning. The first couple of times were nice experience. Two weeks later that was the last thing I wanted to eat :). Life is definitely not easy over there. I wish you had just gave those potato to that lady without that much chatting ... almost feel like teasing. It made me a little bit uncomfortable. You told her that restaurant was good, but there is no way she could have afforded to eat in there ...

Not sure where you saw "Happiness", I think most of these people were just surprised to be on camera. He said part way through the video kids were out working the fields instead of in school, and a lady was desperate for water. At the end you saw a boy who had no idea what "Canada" even was. The last part was super odd... why would you give someone a potato unless you thought they were desperate for food?

Like Lee Marvin says, you dont murder animals, you kill them. Its part of life, that most people tend to forget since most people are so removed from their food supply. Butchering your own food tends to make you more respectful of the animals and less likely to waste food. The Chinese eat it all, nothing goes to waste.

Youtiao should be dipped in soy sauce for flavour, and the porridge will balance the flavour out or it can be eaten with soy milk (the classic combination). It can also be paired with dabing (大饼), dabing can either be savoury or sweet depending on your personal preference. P.S the combination of youtiao and dabing is commonly found in Shanghai.
@pennyying9716
@pennyying9716 8 жыл бұрын
Oh and one more combination, youtiao can be wrapped in cifan which is glutinous rice along with some sugar. That's one of my personal favourites.

The only thing similar with Chinese is that you might be having a small eyes. Bydway Burmese, Cambodian,Laotian, Vietnamese, Indonesia looks like Manipuri.
