This is great, however how do you quickly delete a marker? You used to be able to drag to delete. Fast and efficient. Is that gone?

I found what I think is a bug since upgrading. The traditional markers across the top are non longer locked to the grid. In fact, at random with Tempo composer mode, they seem to slip and slide at random a really small amount 50 samples. If I go into the memory locations window, a marker that used to be parked on bar line “171 | 1 | 000”, is now (in the memory locations window) “171 | 1 | 001”. It’s caused total havoc in my sessions the past few days.

Do you know if there is an interchange format for importing markers with comments from a 3rd party tool? E.g. DV Script markers?

Thank you!!! The key commands are super useful! PT’s documentation of shortcuts doesn’t say anything about keyboard shortcuts for track markers. If it does, I couldn’t find it. I’ve been asking for mor advanced markers for many years. Though this isn’t what I was hoping for, it will be sufficient.

Can someone please tell me how to bounce a mix between selected markers. Previously I would have a ‘start’ & ‘end’ marker. I’d select ‘start’, hold shift and select ‘end’, then select ‘Bounce Mix…’ from the File pulldown menu….and the track would bounce the mix between the markers. Now it bounces the entire timeline. It seems that the latest version 2023.12.1 has a bug (or a feature)

ProTools need to revamp its entire philosophy. It is still based on the analog tape machine / analog mixing console concept. Why not use Nodes and pattern the UI and overall workflow after the program Nuke? I could list 200 ways this program could be more useful so could many users. And every update announcement all we get is a barely noticeable feature or fix, most which I will never use.
