Omg I thought I was the only one who caught onto the disrespect from Tom towards Natalie! She was asking amazing follow up questions and trying to show him respect so he’d be comfortable to open up. He responded with talking over her or having temper tantrums throughout the whole episode. Nick conducted a great interview with the Tom's. He was fair and tried to provide a safe space for them. The backlash Sandoval is receiving is because it is proving he really did not learn anything from his actions. And the way he treated Natalie was gross. (but he has always treated women who question his actions like that for years- ask Katie)

Please PLEASE realize that the entire last season, we got to see Tom gaslighting we the audience throughout the entire season. If we hadn’t been given a lens we weren’t supposed to have, we’d have thought Ariana was a horrible girlfriend he catered to & he deserved to keep the house. Several thoughts on this. 1. I understand that during the show. Nick has to keep a level of professionalism amd keep the interview moving. That being said i am in shock that he was so calm today looking back at how tom was so aggressive toward natalie. Tom was extremely reactive and rude. 2. Saying life hasn't shown up at schwartz's doorstep seems inaccurate. Katie kept it real toward him everyday and even hit him with a divorce. Thats a pretty real lesson. Your best friend screwing up on national televison and screw you and your business over is a very real lesson. Life has shown up at his doorstep, he just doesnt answer the door. He doesnt face his problems. 3. Sandoval is not a good friend even if your interests are aligned. He and schwartz were aligned about their business werent they? And what did he do? He went on tour and abandoned him. These are just a few thoughts and i think saw they are gonna address it more on the reality recap but this kind of made me sad to see on Nick's part. Natalie keeping it real was awesome. She had a great read on that whole episode. Happy she was courageous enough to come in and speak her mind.

Realtor here w a little more context. What no one is discussing is how much they owe on the mortgage. Bought for $2m, down pmt of $500,000. Leaves mortgage balance if 1,500,000. Even after pmts for 2-4 yrs, their balance owed would still be probably 1.3-4m. So if they can sell for 3m, they would have a check for 1,600,000. Split is 800,000. THIS IS ASSUMING they didn’t borrow more against the house, which I think they did for Tom. So really less. Toms 3.1m offer doesn’t even make sense. Hope this helps!

I really think “being manipulative” isn’t always what we think of it as. I believe, in the “manipulator’s” head, 90% of the time they would never ever see it as manipulation. Whether that is due to ignorance or lack of desire to not hurt others- it varies. I think it is a very much learned behavior. “When I do or say X, I can expect Y response from people.” The lack of education around interpersonal relationships and critical thinking is apparent with Tom and Tom. They are so out of touch, I have no idea what would be enough to bring them to sense. I am sure they are capable of change, but whether or not they are willing to give up their pride and egos is another thing.

I think Natalie is great! I don’t think she needs anyone to defend her BUT I was a little bothered that Nick allowed Sandoval to speak so aggressively to her. Natalie scrolled through a month’s worth of texts to defend the “You were late first!” story because she was not going to allow Tom to call Nick a liar. Sandoval felt disrespected by Nick on the Tom podcast, showed up late (and dirty), lied, and basically yelled at Natalie every time she spoke. The Toms interview was fine but I would have paid to see Nick throw him out! I understand they were guests but my mom taught me to be respectful and to be a grateful guest. At the very least, he should have been told to chill when speaking to the pregnant woman in the room.

The house situation in summary: House value $3M. Ariana will get 1.5M from her 50% share. However her share of the mortgage was 750k SO $1.5M from sale to Tom - $750k her mortage share = $750K in her pocket. Not bad since she put $250K down. Basically made 500K profit. Tom now has to finance a $3M dollar house for which he already has a 250K down payment. He will simply have to add to it. If market value of 3M is fair, this is a completely normal and equitable transaction…

Option b) they don’t have such agreement and Ariana will walk away with no profit…

Regarding the property owned by Tom and Ariana I've never heard any mention of the current market value ,which is surely a figure that is the most relevant when splitting the asset because Ariana would be entitled to half of the current market value and if they have a valuation like approx. 8 million dollars on the open market > then Tom should be offering 4 million dollars not 3 mill

SALE OF DUAL OWNERSHIP HOME - If this was a regular split where they put in equal down pymts and split each monthly pymt… they would sell the home and simply split the profits HOWEVER, where I believe their specific issue lies is that remember Tom borrowed against the house to invest in the bar and we also don’t know who paid what for all the upgrades and customizations to the home… SO if the house hasn’t appreciated enough to pay realtor/closing fees and the balance owed while giving Ariana at least what she invested, then she’d be losing money and Tom doesn’t have enough to pay her to make up the difference. I’d bet the offer he gave her would barely be enough to payback her initial down payment and I’m sure knowing Tom, he’s prolly arguing he put more money into the house (ie the gym he mentioned 40 times) and is owed more (I mean… pens and battery costs add up 😂)
