Basically every(!) a.-hole worldwide, male, female or intersex, is a 'hurt person hurting people.' 'Hurt people hurt people, & happy people help people.' I was impressed that Jessica didn't try to cheat with Jimmy, even though they almost became a couple, & Jimmy said Jessica was attractive, obviously. I have way more respect for Jessica now, knowing she was tragically abused in foster care until getting adopted at 16. I hope she finds a decent boyfriend, and thanks for publicly admitting you have a stomach disorder (same with Natalie saying her sister has a stomach disorder). Most Americans/people keep that secret, out of incorrect 'embarrassment.' Vaccine injuries can cause stomach disorders.

You are literally saying my exact thoughts and making ALL THE RIGHT QUESTIONS 😭♥️ we don't deserve you. This podcast is gold!!! Being that said, I hope Jess open her eyes one day. Just bc you don't wanna hear or aknowledge that someone you love manipulated and used the most sensitive topics and triggers and the most important person in your life to get to you, doesn't mean it's not true. You might "know deep things" about harry, but that doesn't erase what he does to women time and time again.

@suras8984 Ай бұрын
@alitaylor1235 stating that someone doesn't know their worth is not putting them down. She even said she has a bad track record for choosing men which means she doesnt know her worth. And you do not take someone's words as truth if you know their actions to be the opposite. Anyone who is serious about getting married and simultaneously knows their worth would never give Harry a chance especially since all his transgressions are fairly recent. You can't use this weak example as a reason to say that men don't want women who know their worth as if Harry is representative of men or even a decent human.

Sadly, Jess doesn’t get it. She was absolutely played by Harry. Jess saying that she doesn’t want to believe that Harry manipulated her doesn’t change the fact that he did. Now that Jess has had time to watch back her season of Perfect Match and process what really happened hopefully she can change her thinking about Harry, Because, true healing and real social-emotional growth will not happen for Jess until she can accept and admit that she was wrong about everything that she thought was a great relationship. The fact is that Harry has gotten much better at being a Cad. Hopefully all women watching him will wisen up about how some men can lull them into a false sense of romance bonding.

Yes, we often have a tendency to romanticize things, even if they may be toxic or unhealthy. Our brains naturally seek to make sense of things, and once we create a context or narrative around something, it can provide a sense of relief and comfort. This is why getting back together with someone can give our brain that context, even if it may not be the best decision for our well-being. As a trauma mentor, I understand the desire for a happy ending, regardless of whether the person involved may be considered a "bad guy" or not. We all crave that sense of closure and happiness in our lives.

A significant number of people, particularly women, have Crohn's disease and autoimmune diseases that are associated with early childhood trauma. I'm not sure if you are aware of this or if you have studied it, but there is substantial research that provides evidence linking autoimmune diseases to early childhood trauma. Specifically, these diseases often manifest in the stomach and gut region because our gut is often referred to as our second brain. It is crucial for our digestion and overall well-being to be in a state of rest and restoration when processing food. However, for many of us who experience constant stress or hypervigilance, this can contribute to the development of autoimmune diseases. I appreciate you shedding light on this topic!

So happy Jess found a family in the end that was a good family!! Not all of us from the system have that because it’s seriously so corrupt. I ended up with a family who should have never been able to adopt me and my brother. They shouldn’t have been allowed to adopt a dog. They had a lot of money and it was all they cared about. He was a funeral director who moved me to a new state bought a funeral home, made a commercial about our “adoption story” and when I started school everyone knew me as that adopted kid. He manipulated me with money because I never had it growing up until finally I left them at 17 and never turned back. I’m now just out here with no parents at all. The system fails us kids that need a family and place us with people who aren’t really looking out for us because unfortunately they don’t have the space for all the kids so they just try to place kids wherever they can. Again so so happy for Jess, I feel more connected to her now. I always kinda saw myself in her, and now I see it makes sense.

You are so strong and I admire your vulnerability to share those moments of your life!

I think a lot of people that label horrible ex’s as narcissists are actually getting it wrong when a lot of them are actually sociopaths. Saying someone is chasing clout and just self absorbed is really diminishing just how damaging these individuals are to the average compassionate person whose emotions are just play things to them.

She's not ready to accept that Harry manipulated her and that's where she needs to direct her healing. Nick gently and repeatedly tried to get her to see for herself that he is a master manipulator but she would continue to make excuses. Even when she said she "laid into him" that's great but what emotional boundaries did you set? He showed that he had not changed and you gave him multiple chances.

@RaeDee1111
@RaeDee1111 Ай бұрын
@@isamalfoy8120 that is what I believe she is doing. It is ego at work. I always felt like she comes off as a martyr she's in this position bc "her heart is too good" or "she believes in the best of people," etc. and not bc she makes bad decisions. I don't say this to bash her. It's just the truth. The reality is she moved way too fast and chose not to set a boundary when he showed his flags. How long were they together on the show? A month if that? Once she found out he lied, that should have been it bc he has a documented track record. Why would you give someone a second chance and you haven't even been together that long? Not all of us have the benefit of video evidence. She has to learn to listen to her intuition and stick with it.

She has a bad side to herself too: she was really horrible to Miranda and that interview footage of how she reacted to Tolu answering a question? She comes across so self aware but fails to treat women who get in her way of attention from either the media or men with the same respect she gives the most disgusting men.

@@JVBmuahx She is eloquent for sure and and an effective communicator when things go her way, have to give her that! CRAZY thing is that she only apologized to Tolu after people noticed what she was doing. She is self aware and righteous until things dont go her way - goes back to LIB too, did she not meet up with a former cast mate after jimmy and chelseas engagement laughing about how she'd still have him etc? Until she becomes truly humble and genuine she will always be skipped, regardless of how she comes across and looks.

Sex? Be the guy who always gets the girl he wants? Be forreal, you said it yourself: He is extremely inteligent. I don't like him, but I agree. He is outsmarting you & I wish you clarity soon! ♥️

She didn't believe melinda at first and lashed out at her. She was mad that he kissed her then went around interviewing people to ask what happened. I would have gone straight to production to ask what happened. Melinda owed Jess nothing. She says harry is mature but a mature person would have owned up to his mistake and expressed sincere regret.

Dating for a month and being in love. Someone promising you the world and commitment in a month is a big red glad. And is not love is lust. Her problem is falling for what is familiar to her. That’s no love. Just because you’ve been getting that kind of “love” your whole life. Love yourself first so you can know what real love is and never settle for less. And take time knowing someone for their actions not just their words or if they went to therapy or not. Actions speak louder than words. Jess you are the whole package but you need to believe it yourself. Therapy is to heal yourself not to teach others how to treat you. Ir you have to tell a man what you need or how to love you, that’s not your man. And it doesn’t mean they are bad or mean they could be good men but is just not good for you. Is not meeting you at your level. Don’t go down their level to be loved. You are in a healing journey. Let people meet you at your level. Everyone we meet is a teacher for us.

Jess, as someone who has a parent with addiction who also suffers from resorting to be "chosen", I am here to tell you "getting deep really quickly" should be a sign for you to slow down bc it can be a predecessor for trauma bonding. Harry, and men like them, are masters at getting you to that point.

i can't help but be really bothered by some of the things she said. like when she said she's never gonna be like one of his past relationships and clout chase and get into a social media war with him - it's not like francesca or georgia wanted to have a social media war with him. harry was going around on podcasts calling them all sorts of horrible things and sending hate their way. i just feel like jess has a tendency to think that she really is more mature and sort of superior to other women at times. and this was evident with the way she spoke to melinda in perfect match and tolu in that one interview.
