I can't believe I haven't made a jam track based on this classic 12-bar-blues jam by Freddie King called Going Down. Here's my take on this heavy ass fuzzy driving blues riff. I made a Db version for ya too! This jam track, although it's a 12-bar-blues, really wants just D Dorian or the D minor blues scale. Don't try to be fancy. Intensity will get you everywhere with this.

If you want to be picky Going Down was written by Don Nix and was first released by Moloch in 1969, Freddie (yes) King covered it, and many many many others : )

Little confused. Does the progression go from the V chord down to the IV chord then the I chord? Not hearing that part in the song, but you have it charted that way.

You are correct, it does not go to the IV chord. Sorry, I was just using a standard 12 bar blues chart there.
