@TheElevatorPlanet Going up, the elevator at the Gateway arch goes the normal speed of a regular elevator, mabey a little faster( I have'nt been up on the arch recently). Going down, the elevator goes a little bit faster than going up becase the elevator is going down. Sorry if this doesn't help.

Going up wasn't a big deal my first time, but going down I felt like I was going to die, my ears were popping and we were trying to see long you can hold your breath and OMG it was horrid. I have TMJ so it really hurt :/
