a tune she learned in her teens in the Mississippi Delta...what a woman! Gotta love her! Bonnie and these guys are tremendous.

I love Bonnie Raitt I think she's the best lady " Smoking Hot Redhead" guitarist I've ever seen! The way she plays that Slide, is out of this world! But as she singing the song I'm rewriting the lyrics in my head to fit my life. Who else can put their baby and their name in these lyrics? To me that's what makes it such a great song that it fits anyone who can dig it! Yeah I think I better brush up on my slide guitar a little...ok, a lot! Oh yeah you should have seen her play with Stevie Ray Vaughan in Memphis It Was So Cool! Or you might have seen her with John Hiatt at the Orpheum in Memphis? That was a damn good show too! I think Buddy Guy was there too. I've seen so many so many times I can't remember who appeared with who not all of them. It might have been when Jeff Healey open for Stevie that she was there. Back in the good old days when your concert tickets was 12.50or 17.50 whoever was in town wanted to play with Stevie Ray Vaughn. Sorry folks I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but this music is it gone they don't make it anymore and at least I got to be an eyewitness to it , many many times... Thanks for your time.

John Hammond kicks it hard with his slide guitar on this side but Bonnie is also on it with her slide leads. Do this to yourself and buy this LP you'll thank me! Fantastic blues by the masters! Get some rollin and tumblin by Hammond live somewhere before you die! This is Bonnie singin but John boy carries the sycopated rock with his ax...don't know where Lowell George fits in on this cut.
