The battery controls the ecu for the power valve so they do need a lot of charging otherwise they have that problem you had with cutting power, super unlucky with it dying though. Nice video

Thanks man for the comment, yeah unfortunately the battery died tbh I didn’t even think it could be the battery until it was too late, but I guess lesson learned and first time it’s ever happened to me though

@@marchracing6982 do you have a temp gauge for your water temp so that it shows on your mychron?

@@dylanbrierley6786 yeah but I keep forgetting to change the battery on my mychron so I haven’t had it on the past couple rounds 😬👀 I need to use it really though as it’s kinda important 😂

@@marchracing6982 yeah I guess so, but I my engine hasn't really got hot enough to use the flap yet, but then again it's not summer yet 😂

sorry but how do you come to the conclusion thast the power is bc a peace of plastic on the radiator that wont make that much of a driffrence

Never mind I found the part your talking about, nah to be honest I had no clue the issue until after the pre final, basically in the pre final the kart completely died because the battery had a faulty issue, and the issue started occurring in heat 1 but didn’t realise that until the pre final, I thought the engine was overheating as that day was super hot and with the radiator flap down then the engine could overheat and cause some problems, but yeah that wasn’t the case 😂
