I'd recommend that new players wanting a simple deck using the cards you start with just combine the Miraidon and Regieleki decks into Miraidon's Regi variant with Raikou and either exp. share and/or a 1-1/2-2 flaafy line. You have attackers that are easy to set up, tons of ways to pivot, and forgiving energy recovery. After that, you can start building Gardevoir EX using the premium battle pass rewards--the only "expensive" cards missing from the free Gardi deck in it are (maybe) one more Gardi EX, 1-2 Zacian V, and Radiant Greninja.

Brand new player here less than a week - I'm currently 30-15 using the Arcanine Ex pre-deck exclusively without purchasing anything same as you. Ranked has already been putting me against 300-400 ranked players and still winning against them with my tweaked deck. No idea how far I'll get with ranked but so far the Arcanine Ex deck has been super fun to play. Quite often a match looks something like this: - Goes second and draws a Growlith & x1 energy. Place Growlith as active and use Stoke to get x2 more energy. - Attempt to seek out an Arcanine Ex. Often I can grab one before the end of my second turn. - Place down Arcanine and you're ready to go with a 250 damage Bright Flame on your second turn. Continue to build your draw and energy economy. A lot of opponents so far haven't been able to match that pace.

Isn’t that combo a bit slow? By the time you’ve done it, the opponent has evolved into vstar or vmax and over the 240 damage you’d be doing.

@@Midnight-hz3ep Then wait for them to evolve. I've done it. 6 prizes in 1 turn quite a few times. Used it in the ladder managed to go higher then I've ever before. Sneak in earthen seal stone if enemy uses path to the peak. You can even add in Arceus to accelerate energies to 2 Mewtwos. So you have 3 Vstar power to choose from depends on your opponent's deck. Or just Arceus V (without Vstar) for acceleration purpose and cheren's care away Arceus to discard with ultra ball to find your other Pokemon. Not recommended now as there's EXs but work well against Miraidon EX and Mew Vmax decks. Just set up your cosmog with double turbo before using Mewtwo Vstar power or earthen seal stone so you can rare candy into lunala the next round.

When I first started playing I just decided I liked psychic and grass decks and made a Mega Gengar EX and royal heal Serperior deck that had like next to no synergy but I thought it was awesome at the time!

Pokemon go alolan raticate + panic mask. You take no damage from whatever you attack. Then you just need to gust the opponent and bench snipe with howlucha or radiant blastoise.

Ahhh I started not too long ago, I remember my dialga deck that made no sense cuz I just kept adding cards that I thought would’ve helped me in the previous game and somehow ended up using like 2 colress and a chein pao in there bc I drew the alternate arts and thought they looked cool 😂😂

It’s impossible to move up to arceus. The algorithm wont allow it. Every time I get to 600, I can get 680. Then I my deck starts bricking. Other decks are getting super fast set ups and knock outs. All my evolutions end up in the prize decks, or basics. Energy is nowhere to be found.. So once I get to to 680, I stop playing ranked to save the progress by the end of the ladder instead of being taken down to 600 again.

To go from togepi to Arceus, you’ll have to win like 100 matches without loosing a single one, so if you decide to continue the series I recommend you don’t show every single match, but only parts of the best ones.

Pretty sure you've got to play approximately 1,500 games to get to Arceus tier. If you average 15 mins per game that's 375 hours. Looking forward to the finale in 2025 😂
