you travel to Philippines only if essential. it is so complicated and very stressful to go home at this time because they are making business/profit out of COVID 19. My brother went home from Canada and spent almost 2k US dollars for all these travel procedures/protocols and of course quarantine and swabbing business. It is so distressing and very depressing to go home to Philippines at this time of pandemic. Also just to be aware!! they can lock-down anytime one city in the Philippines if there are covid cases in that area. example of this scenario is in our place Laoag City in Ilocos Norte it is currently lock down until 2nd week of December. so how can you enjoy your stint vacation with all these impose restrictions from the govt!!! instead they should discourage us not to travel at this time as it is too risky due to increasing cases of covid in the philippines (see philstar.com for update) if not you will be travelling at your own risk!!

Yay, my friend just came back yesterday For 2 months vacation, the main reason her mother died ,,as the eldest she must go back home...but with all this pandemic ...and as we live in Europe which not include of OFW program she spends more than 500€ euro , for the test swabtest, hotel and the van who will pickup from the airport going to hotel , and the expenses for the car to bring her home once the quarantine is finish So ,, she said , it’s really hard to go back home with all this quarantine procedures ..but she said if someone included in OFW program the payment its more less ...

The decision to travel in the Philippine Islands won't require a multiple Phd in space rocket science. Whoever crafted these rules didn't have any grasps of economics practical reality. Why does someone allows himself/herself/themselves to be subjected in these kind/s of restrictions? Well if you have a one way ticket from the country of origin and will be settle for good, then that is the best decision for your status. However, if one has a work waiting back from the country of origin, it doesn't make sense economically and psychologically. At the solution of the quadratic equation, the marvel of internet will enable loved ones from different corners of earth to be reconnected albeit digitally in real time thru video/audio call at a fraction of the horrible experience from point A to destination B. And only when it is necessary does someone from abroad has to but for recreation and leisure, it is better to stay at home in wherever location you are in from outside the Philippines.

Jennifer pls update your vlog. The swab test is pegged at 4,000 pesos for ofw or non ofw and 20% discount for senior citizens with senior citizen card. The result is emailed after 12 hours. How do I know this? I arrived on December 10 and ready to check out from the hotel. Many of the people arriving with us did not have pre booked padlab and prebooked hotel as well as TRAZE. I'm just following what the labs have published. I know that many receive their results early (within 12 hrs) even though they paid just P4,000. That is why we would try to get our dual citizenships which is very difficult at this time .
