Also, those raiders came because you gave shelter to the butcher lady earlier, I'm guessing, who is about 150cm tall and weighs over 100kg. Lady needs to cut back on the pork products! EDIT: Not is. Was. I think she was Mabel and died in that raid as one of the three deaths. You saved her. They came for her. They killed her and two more to assert dominance. The drama! The pathos! This is why we love Nook's content.

make some smaller 'local' stockpiles with high priority so that your dudes don't run off into the woods to get instead of doing their jobs. nice vid!

Great Hall is good as part of a main building with workshops and such next to it behind doors. bedrooms can be in towers too Prisoners go in the Dungeon! and Dungeons go underground so prisoners are out of sight and out of mind! build a wood barn/shed for your livestock and get their pasture inside the Castle Walls. columns are fine for supporting upper floors but NEVER place them as part of an exterior overhang beyond the outer walls = can we say Target! if you can't build a well, build a cistern to store water. the Castle must Grow. resistance is Feudal!

NEW PLAYER TIP - - Making a 3x5 Mortuary Room, to store HUMAN CORPSES that helps keep Settlers from being upset at seeing them in the open. Bad part of the "New Wells" is that they don't work over land that is not Moist Swamp Dirt... Or put it 'in' river/lake with 1 wall that is 1 tile space away from the shore, to support the Well. 👍 SMH at players that leave Windows to Rooms open in COLD WEATHER. And ones that don't make Barns, to protect Domestic animals too.
