Love your videos. You did one where you gave a checklist for when you LEAVE the ça,poste but I can find it now. Can you help please?

Two things I would add to your pre-trip check are: 1 - If you have manual rear steadies give them a couple of cycles up and down with a good dousing of WD40 or similar. I did this a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing how much crud from the road was in them!! 2 - If you have space (like you seem to on that lovely driveway!) and it's a nice, sunny day, to get your awning out for a few hours to let it have a breath, especially after winter!! Thanks for the video!

Excellent tips! We don't have steadies, but for those that do it's a great idea. And yes, if you have the space testing the awning is useful- but don't put it away damp!

When we were living in Canada there was a news story where 2 families travelling in motorhomes from the US stopped at the border, The "kids" were travelling between either vehicle as they wished, unfortunately they got 300 miles past the border before they discovered that one kid was missing and had been left at the border..........

Excellent video. Thanks for the memory joggers. It saved me setting off with a flat ignition battery for my habitation heater unit. Say safe and enjoy the new season.

Hi Kat…very interested in your grey patterned window surrounds ! Did these come with the van or did you add yourself? If the latter can you say what you used please. Thank you 🙏🏼

They came with the van, but it’s just a board with cloth and a little padding- a bit like a headboard. I reckon they’d be fairly easy for anyone who enjoys crafting. Just be sure they’re tight so they don’t rattle.

Hi Kat, I enjoy your vlogs! I recall watching one when your hubby installed the gaslow system on your previous MH. In this latest vlog I can see that gaslow is installed, but I cannot see the input valve. Has it been mounted inside the gas locker or, if not, where is it? Best regards Sam
@WanderingBird3 жыл бұрын
Hi Sam. Yep, with this van we decided to not drill through the van and just mount it all inside the gas locker. We always had the locker door open anyway when filling and we've never had any problems with not being able to get gas. Much easier and tidier this way.

@@WanderingBird Hi Kat, thanks for your reply. I have seen a few reports suggesting that it is more difficult to fill up with lpg in Spain etc. if the filling point is inside the locker, but I am reassured to know that you have not experienced any problems. The solution you have chosen is much neater as you say.

Hi Kat, I like your luggage box mounted on the rear. What make is it and how is it mounted? Best regards Sam
