I'm at 355 physical books. But my accumulation of books has really slowed down now that I- A: know my tastes better, B: know my buying habits better (and can prevent them), and C: have caught wind of all the books that I missed out on during those years I didn't read. So now I have a system that I wrapped up into a pretty little game called BookAggro, and I'm using 2024 to really lean hard into making my TBR go down. With that said, I hope BOTH OF US find great success in 2024!!!

I absolutely cannot wait for you to read Heavenly Bodies and to hear what you think! I have read both of the books in the series (3rd is coming out soon!) I will say, you can tell it’s a debut novel, but I just love it all the same! I don’t think I’ve ever read a world system like it in fantasy, and the slow burn romance is phenomenal! The story line has been keeping me on the edge of my toes and I am dying for the next book in the series to come out! So glad you have it on your tbr, it needs the hype!

Definitely read Eragon but you have to be patient and get to the 2nd book. The first book is pretty slow until the end

The Realm Breaker books are so good! Some chapters can drag on but I really recommend them. + the third (and maybe final) book is coming out late February (it has a really unique plot {imo} and the romance is a REALLY slow burn romance {we get just a time sliver but I’m hoping it’ll be more explored in the third book, but it’s really sweet so far} plus it has a lot of different povs) But I also really loved the Red Queen series (although I’ve heard a lot of people say otherwise) so I’d recommend both series! Victoria Aveyard is really good at sucking me into her worlds and characters 😂

just so you know king of battle and blood is a part of a series. the next book in the series is called Queen of Myth and Monsters and there is going to be a third book that is coming out. You should definitely read it, it is so good.
