I think some of you got confused by what I meant by being connected and disconnected at the same time. It was because I don’t know the lyrics by heart and I love the beauty of the Korean language so much that I wished in that moment that I could understand. I appreciate the concern FAM. And I always look up the lyrics for every BTS song because I go very deep with this music in my personal time. My go to site is doolset bangtan. I just wanted to clear that up so you could enjoy the reaction without worry 😅

I understood what you meant because I feel the same way. I LOVE this album, been streaming it nonstop since its release. I wish I could understand the beautiful Korean language because we all know RM is a POET one of the greatest of our time. He's so deep and intact with his emotions. So the disconnection I feel is the dept of the meaning when it gets translated, that's why I also search and look up various translations of their lyrics.

I absolutely feel you FAM. It’s often bittersweet even when you do have the translations bc we know translators work so hard to do that for us, but still things can get lost. Becoming a fan of BTS has humbled me as an English speaker and in turn, has me yearning to learn more.

Namjoon can sing! The song just need to be on his range. He has a deep voice, and BTS songs in general are too high. But that man can sing and I adore his voice, like I adore his poetic lyricism and amazing music.

I completely agree that many songs we cannot understand 100% because the translations are never exact and sometimes they take certain things out of context, but there is no doubt that Namjoon put all his love and soul into Indigo! RM’s singing voice is very comforting, there is soul because he writes what he feels and feels what he sings. He is such an amazing, multi-faceted artist. I respect him so much for not doing an album for commercial reasons but instead choosing to collaborate with artists he highly values and respects. He is an unbelievable and one of kind human being and artist. He has given us the most BTS songs, writing the lyrics for Spring Day which is one of the most beautiful songs ever created. MONO is fabulous and INDIGO deserves so so much respect and recognition 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 i would encapsulate Namjoon’s talent and sell it by the bucketloads. I 💜 RM

As an art student, art person, singer, writer, performer and creative (I wear many hats lol).. this album makes me extremely emotional. Because I’ve never felt so seen and connected and understood. Joon managed to capture all facets of who I am as a person and I’ll forever be grateful for this album and his pen. This album is for the lost souls, the ones experiencing burn out, the ones confused about the future, the ones still holding on to that last thread of hope. Kim Namjoon is insane for this. I love him sm😭

He's so comfortable with his friends. I like it. I love watching this with you... i feel like I'm in the kitchen at the counter with you. The guy behind him is his best friend, who produces and writes with him. He's on the album. Docskim/piano produced Wild Flower. He was going to stop the business and Namjoon talked him into producing the WF... Docskim changed his mind and is back to production. Look at our Namjoon changing people's lives. Still Life one of my favorites... so fun. Each song is from a different genre... 10 different music genres

It took 2 listens for me to get into Indigo, I don’t speak Korean so the beat, vibe and flow has to pull me in, it did. Later i looked up the lyrics and that is why I admire Kim Namjoon, his lyrics are so meaningful and poetic. I’m a Rapline bias because they can make some music!

Everything Bangtan does is even better with a live band. Because it starts with quality first. RM sounds amazing! The band was truly a collection of legends. Love John Eun and DocSkim. The drummer and bassist were just so good here as well! Will listen again. So glad he was able to get the artists he wanted to collaborate with him. Thanks again to Erykah and Anderson. I was happy to hear Seoul on this performance. It's a song that I loved, but then had forgotten for a while. I visited Seoul this fall and I can say that I understand the line "it's a great place to live if you have the money". I'm sure that line can fit many places, but I saw it and felt it in Seoul. From my experiences, observations, and my loved one that lives there. Seoul (life?) is a beautiful place, but definitely easier if you can afford (have money?) it.

I love Indigo. It's so good, and so many of the songs I'm like: I could see this creating positive ripples if it was played in the line-up on Video Soul, he'd be the first and he'd fit right in. RM doesn't lie when he says he's a 90's guy and his vibe is so good. And his love of art, there are people who say they like it or love but Namjoon explores it. And creates from his funds and it's just so good 🥺

I understand what you mean…. There is a beauty and poetry in the Korean language and the way RM expresses it … I know I’m missing something as the translations will never be as poetic. But it’s still amazing anyway 💜
