Another informative Vlog. Couple questions. I’ve been before but I’m headed back as a 4 day layover before heading to Africa 1) How long were in Dubai to cover all those spots. 2) Is it easy to get taxis or did you do Ubers as well. 3) Did you do Dubai Creek Area ? If so was it worth it ? - your vlog gave me some good additional info & some things I want to add to my itinerary

@@kiwilisaoutandabout1320 hey Lisa! 👋🏼 1. So we were there for about 5 nights to cover all of that. But we did a bit of socialising with friends too. You could easily tighten up the itinerary if you wanted to 😉 2. The taxis are easy, get an app called Careem. It has all the services on there included the Hala Taxi. Just use that for ease of use, if you can do Uber you can do that no problems! 3. We didn’t fit in Dubai Creek. We would’ve loved to because I think it would be fascinating to see the old Spice and Gold Markets etc. maybe we can do that on our next stop.

Yes! It’s just to help you get to your hotel and get you started in Dubai I think 🤔 there’s 1GB of data on it and it lasts for 24 hours 😊

Didn’t get SIM card at the airport When I arrived at the airport 3weeks ago my son lives here He asked me if I got SIM card I am old lady on wheelchair pushed wheelchair man took my passport to the offices and he took me to the taxi stamnd and 5 minutes walking to outside boy 1 suite case he charged me 30 dheram also wheelchair boy wanted money too My son paid both men 30 dehram each I don’t know we must pay for wheelchair man as well 5 minutes push 1 suite cash 30 dherams

No not at all, Dubai is a very safe place to travel, virtually zero crime, you’ll be absolutely fine!

Hey! No we didn’t need a permit, though filming is a little restrictive. For example, you can’t film with a professional camera/gimbal around the mall etc without permission. Any drone footage used is stock footage too.

Westerners would be well advised to stay out of Dubai. The hosts of this video's government approved presentation notwithstanding, you never really know where the line is over there, until you have crossed it. And then it is too late. This is a Muslim country. Don't get drawn in by the claims of tolerance.
