Peter, always handy to have someone on the young team on standby for these scenarios. If you can’t take one with you make sure you can give someone a call, all they need is your vrn and the parking area number of the nearest sign and the ability to pay online. Easy easy once you know how, Failing that there is usually a number that you can phone on the signage, however sometimes these answering services are even more of a pain. I’d gladly volunteer my services and help you out as I’ve several of these apps on my phone. Either way don’t let it put you off and enjoy the show. ‘Best Ross

Hi ya Peter. Yeah know what you mean with the parking. Most of the car parks we go to have cash or card can't go wrong. We are staying at the premier Inn couple of miles away £6 for the cab hence no parking stress. Doing both days this year, be great to meet you on sunday. Great running session as usual buddy. Hi Peter, nice running session with a good mix of stock can’t help you with the parking APP not going this year after the balls up last year with the parking and free bus shuttle never had enough time in the day to wait for it one and a half hours waiting to get on there and back have a good time cheers Al

Hi Peter. If you don't want to use the app. Apparently, there is a phone number you can call. All the information in on signs in the car park. I doubt anyone in the venue will have anything to do with the company that charges. All the best 👍🏻

A lot of these places where an app on your phone is needed to pay car parking, there's no alternative means to pay in the car park. You might need to download it before you go! Is the gravel in your JNA \ IOA your own work or commercially available loads?

Don't bank on an " alternative" to The App! An Ex-pat in a hire car, went through The Dartford Tunnel last year, what a problem that was!

Yes but it seems you can't do anything now without it. Even my local council shopping centre has gone over to it. So I have had to download it, will see how it goes Cheers Peter

We came back from overseas to visit York this year. we parked in the station had overseas phones could not download the app. we where in the carpark for 10 minutes left went back to the hotel later that evening we phoned the car park owners. they tried to charge us 3 hours. they have a camera entering the car park and one on Exit they new how long we had been in there for. 2 hours on the phone we payed. everywhere we went there is no more cash machines probably because 1 they do not have to empty the machine 2 vandalism. parking in the UK is a bloody nightmare. probably why i don't live there. Hope you enjoy the show,
