Hi Al, yes indeed the cab light makes the difference. I really didn't pick it up before even though I had the cab open to put the driver in. Hornby should have had cab lights as they really put a lot of detail in there that is overlooked. Looking forward to the Cavalex release too All the best Peter

Great new angle... got to see your awesome model plane collection again! It is funny how certain locos can strike as "new again." I have a definitive memory and relationship to each model, and some just win me over... like a 50 year old steamer that had not run in 20 years and I get it running and it runs like a champ. Great session and beautiful models as always!!!

Thank you Peter for the mention . I never knew about the cab detail either . we learn some think every day . i was never fussed about a class 60 till now i always thought she was a plan Jane till now . Have to keep an eye out for one now . ( More money ) don`t tell Babs .. That`s a good recording from a TTS chip . Just a shame it`s only 8 pin . you do a lot more with it . They're a bit like a magnetic 3 link chain coupling, but a bit more rigid - seems to work well enough 😊 good work Peter!😊

Hi peter just watched your latest video about your hornby class 60 they are amazing locos I have one in mainline blue livery also with tts sound never thought like you about cab lights but wow when you light up the cab what details are there which look nice I think that be a new project the only problem is did you say they turn on and off on function 25 my Dynamis only has 20 functions but with the driver fitted and cab lights fitted and working they take our locos to another level Take care Kev Beighton Parkway Sheffield fellow shed mate

Hi Kev, sorry to say that the free aux setting on the TTS chip is under function 25 so I don't know what to do about that for you. Sorry. Maybe fire of an email to Richard at Road and Rails to see if he could give you advice, he knows a lot about chips All the best Peter

Hi Dave, good as Hornby's 60 is, if the Cavalex 60 is anywhere near as good as their 56, it will knock spots of the Hornby. Haven't got one on order but ........... :) Cheers Peter

I also love Illuminated Models products, I have used them for several years now, but my last order was placed 4 weeks ago with them and I haven't heard a thing from them. Are they still a going concern?

Hi Antony, my order came only a matter of days ago, so I have to say yes. I think that this is a one man band company and that orders are made when ordered but TBH I don't know for sure. Hope it comes through for you. Cheers Peter
