Memorial day is very serious in Israel because almost everybody serves in the army, and most people know soldiers who died. Also, Israelis know that without the sacrifices the soldiers made there will be no Israel, therefore very grateful and pay their respect.

They bite you during the night where you have no fabric on so especially on the ankles. The fact that you are getting multiple at the same location makes it also pretty likely.

Love your travel vlogs sm! you make them so unique, with more content such as you show us more of the city, food, music, everything for more than 1min than most people do. I feel like I'm travelling with you! And yeah most women aren't usually out (unless they have to for work, school, errands) cuz it is Ramadan for the entire month of May and a bit of June. Instead, we just stay at home. Also i feel like im back in Dubai (also a arab country)

Patiently waiting for the pandemic to be over so I can someday go on this trip myself. For the meantime, I'll save up money for post-pandemic travels and binge rewatch this series. I hope this trip returns in the future!

I think they area flea bites. Fleas tend to stick around the ankle area

Hey those bites are most likely bed bug bites and you look allergic to the bites in particular where your having an extreme reaction cause I have also experienced this and I had the same swelling and bites

A lot of people think you have bed bug bites but they look like sand flea bites to me. I have had them a number of times only from my ankles to my knees and they swell up just like that.
