Whoa dude your orbital construction altitude is not in LEO but MEO (2500 km +)

Yeah I've wanted to show a full view of the earth. So I've intentionally increased my orbit.

I found it kind of frustrating not to see the kerbals.

I have one bone to pick with you. Your gravity turns are waaaayyyy too steep. You should be 30° by 30km roughly, and your orbits shouldn’t really be higher than 400km/400km. It’s not wrong doing things the way you did, but it is extremely inefficient.

I've considered the aesthetic parts when making the video so that the whole curvature of the earth can be seen during the insertion burn. So I had to compromise:)

Are you sure this isn’t KSRSS?
@witchofengineering
@witchofengineering 2 жыл бұрын
it is RSS (curvature of the planets is visible), but they're using far future engines so it's kinda easy actually

@@witchofengineering The parking orbit around earth seems unusually high.
@witchofengineering
@witchofengineering 2 жыл бұрын
@@makssachs8914 huh, true... but I think in the launches it looks more like the curvature you're expecting from the actual Earth than from Kerbin-sized Earth... also, the op mentioned RO, which doesn't make any sense with KSRSS

His orbit construction altitude is roughly 3000 km

RSS uses the same scale of earth which is bigger than kerbin. I think that made the difference of curvature.

No gravity assist? Unrealistic but ok
@jaypaint4855
@jaypaint4855 2 жыл бұрын
It’s not really unrealistic, it’s just much more costly in terms of delta/v.
