I really should've seen it coming. That bug also came up in one of my tests but I shrugged it off as a fluke. Lesson learned: don't use a cubic octagonal part (or any "physicsless" part) as a root part!

@@warriorsabe1792 Yea, its weird. It still has "physics", but its mass and drag are applied to the parent part, not itself. Also, apparently you cant make physicless parts root parts, but I think my planes got around it since they are subassemblies where the cubic octag is the first part in the plane's part tree.

Thanks Vaos! I was def trying to min/max performance of the aircraft by excluding any drag inducing docking ports. Little did I know much suffering that decision would cause.

It could have been done in 74, but they took a 12 year hiatus waiting for new planes 😂. I really like videos like this. Makes you appreciate just how incredibly vast space really is. It takes years just to visit our " next door " neighbors. Great work.👍👍

@@Stratzenblitz75yeah i don’t really like the claws either, but more for roleplay reasons. Wouldn’t the claw damage the rocket when it clamps down on it? Since it’s supposed to be for grabbing onto asteroids but most people use it as a sort of pseudo docking port.

Amazing work! The “six-shooter” aircraft hangar is TOO Kerbal. I definitely feel your pain with the cubic octagonal strut root part issue - been burned by that a few times.

Wonderful. The crafts are imaginative and well thought out. I like the style. The video editing and soundtrack is also excellent. Have to adnit, i was not expecting the revolving hanger. The design of the main plane made me think that the front would just detach and be the lander. 😮😱👍. Really appreciate the commitment and logistics it takes just to make a video like this.
