I used to work at a pub, and all kitchen staff would get 100% off food during their shift. We'd wait until 30 minutes before our shift's end, then get an order to go for the end of our shift! (with a drink, too.) As long as it wasn't too busy, and it usually wasn't, then it was okay and sometimes my boss would make breakfast for me at work on slow mornings. :) He was also my neighbour (and friends w my dad) so he would send me home w a chicken quesadilla for my dad lolll
