At the Dentist Hi, I'm Olivia. Today, I want to tell you about my visit to the dentist. It all started last week when I felt a little pain in my tooth. It was bothering me, so I called the dentist to make an appointment. When I arrived at the dentist's office, I saw a lot of people in the waiting room. Some were reading magazines, and others were playing with their phones. I checked in with the receptionist, who was very friendly. She asked me to fill out a form with my name and address. After a short wait, the dentist called my name. She smiled and led me to a room with a big chair that could move up and down. I sat in the chair, and the dentist asked me about my toothache. I explained where it hurt, and she nodded kindly. Next, the dentist used a small mirror and a tool to look inside my mouth. She was gentle and careful. She told me I had a cavity that needed to be filled. I felt a little nervous, but she reassured me that it wouldn't hurt. The dentist cleaned my tooth with water and then put in a special filling. It didn't take long, and soon it was done. She gave me a mirror so I could see the shiny new filling in my tooth. I smiled because I knew my toothache would go away. Before I left, the dentist reminded me to brush my teeth twice a day and to floss every day. She also gave me a sticker for being brave during my visit. I thanked her and left the dentist's office feeling happy and relieved that my tooth was better.
