I can understand Amy. Jo doesn't need to show such behavior but burning book is worse

But the thing is that if she buys her ticket, they can seat her in a different row, which was explained in the 2017 version that she cant sit alone

Not sure if I don't have enough context but like, rip Amy, Jo is so mean to her??? It really seems like Amy's left out of things and is less liked and she doesn't want to be alone. As a creative person I know having your work burned is horrible, once I lost all my online drawings I'd worked so hard on to a sibling purging them, thinking they were using up space and lagging the computer, and I was distraught. However, I'm honestly on the side of Amy; (not to say what she did was justifiable!) But I truly think it makes sense, how she must have felt suppressed and constantly left behind and even unloved by her sister for so long, that she wanted to make Jo feel as bad as she for once. Maybe Amy acted out because she was so left out.

In the book Jo was more rude towards Amy, and Amy didn’t behave so wild as it was shown in this scene. She only shouted to Jo that she will regret it, but she didn’t throw things and she didn’t fire up at Beth.
