Hey I was just wondering on whether I should get this or enter the gungeon but I'm stuck on the decision please can someone weigh in?

These graphics are beautiful. All these halftone effects, object glows, materials, brush strokes... That's beautiful! Usually these texture-less styles end up looking unfinished and not very pleasant to look at, but this game has a nice balance to textured and untextured look.

I can certainly see how some would find these graphics to be unique and beautiful. I'm not going to hate on those people, but for me (and I would assume many, many others as well) they are a turn off. Characters are ugly and look like they're made out of Play-Doh, but the biggest issue for me is that the game is too bright and uses too much pink and purple. I actually like both of those colors a lot despite the fact that I'm a guy (especially purple), but this game really overdoes it. I don't mean to offend anyone, but it honestly looks like the game was made specifically for little girls.

Try out Impostor Mode, then. It's made for people like you who seem to breeze too easily through the game. Be wary, though - you only unlock it at act 2 of the game, after a certain spoiler event. The update is free AFAIK.
