I love that they left that in. I agree with rapid in that the situation is a toss up. Leth did call it first though. Regardless, it's fun seeing that side of things. I'd love to get a 15-20 min video just breaking down good/bad plays between them.

It seems that Leth definitely called it in time and it was better for him to go but Rapid was already locked in on the touch and like he said 90% of the time the 2nd man gets 2nd touch so he didn't register the call first time.

@@mattsoder6401 one caviat is that it doesn't actually matter in this case who called it. the argument revolved around what the correct thing to do in that situation in GENERAL and i think that the 50-50 that leth did could have gone anywhere(granted in this case it would have gone to rapid had he gone for the boost) but Rapid was most likely beating the opponent to the ball and if not then the 50-50 would have probably gone to the back left where no player was and therefore gave both of them enough Time to recover and especially for leth to be able to get to the ball faster had he gone for the boost instead. I have heard most Pro's/coaches say the same thing as well(even leth said the same thing, that's where my understanding comes from)

19:35 to the end First off, withstanding the incredible pressure and starving for that first 45 seconds, to come back and win it (and the Bo3) -- sick. A bit lucky, obviously, but played seriously well to come out of that situation. Excellent video! Especially the end, in which most content creators edit and remove in what they deem is scrap. Make a follow-up video asking the pros the right play, I think. This also teaches young players to be more mature and productive instead of just deeming you "trash" or worse name calling.

@Lethamyr The discussion at the end made me think that you could both go, it's just an uneasy situation. Rapid couldn't see you though so you maybe you could have known that. Also you called it at almost the exact moment the play was happening so it's a bit difficult to fully react on time there, especially because it's a sketchy situation since you're both on the same spot. Kinda rooting a bit more towards Rapid's opinion, but since you were both in the same spot no-one is really really at fault there in my eyes. Feel free to discuss with me :D You don't have to agree with my standpoint because you want to be friendly to viewers :)

right. the comms were there. they both could've obviously got to the ball but there wasn't any cooperation. in times of distress and everyone is doing their best to make the best decision sometimes your teammates have opposite options and the only result in frustration or resentment.

I'm just a GC, but imo when rapid cheats, that is for him to make the next touch. When he starts turning toward the ball in front of you and slows for a second because he is reading toastie's pop AND because rapid cannot see you, he is in the mindset of going for the ball. At that point you should dive for the boost to avoid the double commit. Hopefully get to super sonic and maybe get a demo on toastie if he dives for boost too. I do see your point on wanting to prioritize the boost steal, but thinking from rapid's perspective, he doesnt know youre able to make a save if toastie dives so that commits him to going. Because if he goes for boost and toastie shoots, that is just gg and who cares at that point that rapid got the boost.

Leth called it early because Rapid appeared to have lots of speed going for the boost. Rapid would've had a clear or control in the corner faster than if Rapid popped it while Leth gets the boost. Even though generally the cheater is next on that ball its a good play from Leth to call it because it's a higher percentage that they win that ball.

Idea 1 : The concept that ur team8 in on the other side that u did a few days ago.. U should add that u can only speak with the person on ur game team if that mekes sense.. Say u and danny ar in a team and he is on blue and u on orange.. U shoud do so only the 2 player and only the 2 orange players can talk to each other, So u cant communicate with ur team8 but u can talk to the person that is on the same team as u. / the same color as u but not ur reall team8. It would add a whole different playing style to the mind bc u cant talk to ur team8 u can only talk the tthe one that is the same color as u... Idea 2 : Everytime somone score the contorls would mess upp for the person that scored. The controls could just chance, So forward is backwards or they can just dissapear, = stop working.. So say danny score he's contorls could switch or they could just dissapear so he could not turn left lets say.. And to get the contorls back u would need to score. But when u score again ur contols would be messed upp again. Is all a luck based thing, If u keep ur control or if they swith places.. Nobody know!! I have alot more of ideas, that i am gonna put in future video Comments! So just be on a look out for more ideas! That was only 2 of many!

I don't get the argument. Were you arguing over who should of that what exactly on that situation or how it should be in general? Seems like you were arguing different topics? Really interesting to see that Leth is more agreeable person, doesn't enjoy argumentation and has mature way of doing it. Rapid has more agreesive style in arguing, interrupting & forcing the opinion, sometimes trying to out in arguments that were not true (22:10 - you can't beat toasty). Anyways, cool video. In terms of the replay review, I think rapid is correct in terms of what to do in that scenario. You def did call it early enough tho, even i was confused that rapid went. But (im not a pro obviously) from the pro and high level 2s I've watched kick off person goes boost, and 2nd person ball. Thats not the case every time as well
