Get on Will, I've been waiting all the way up the canal for some old woman, like the one from the "Carry on" films , to jump up from the reeds and say " get off my canal". I got the impression you thought the same because you didn't stop but intimated you would on the way back!!!! Great vlog love it.

Well the argument with a CRT women in previous vlogs when I tried to get into Ripon canal. I didn't really want the same thing again this time. So getting on the canal was a major triumph. Thanks for watching Bill. I will mention it going back.

I'm in the middle of painting a planter, canal art style. Just finished the centre picture on one side, of New Marton top lock, Llangollen canal, (from memory c.1984). It’s so much better having a ‘voice over ‘ ,rather than the very up-close (nose almost touching the camera) commentary, that so many Vlogers do. Quite scary at times ! I'm currently moored under a tree with front and back doors open so I have a nice draft coming through. My roof is white so it stays pretty cool as well. The evenings are hot. I loved Ripon and thankyou so much for the lovely comment. I don't like pointing the camera at myself. I'd rather show where I'm going. Ha ha
