I watched this a week ago, and it was so helpful I wanted to circle back and say thank you. I’m in my mid 50’s, back to the gym after a too long break. I’ve been an off and on gym goer, in “decent” shape for my age but now aware I need to get at it just to protect what I have. I enjoy dumbbell bench press and this helped me immensely. I was limited by a terrible entry/exit and also shoulder pain. Angling the dumbbells and learning how to enter/exit added 10# to my comfortable weight and I expect another 5-10# quickly as I’m so much more confident and comfortable. I like your video style and am following you now for more great content. Thank you!👍🏻

Here in South Florida, our bass seasons seem to run a bit differently from the rest of the country. We basically cycle through summer, pre-spawn, spawn, and post-spawn - with some overlap! Our summer stretches from late May to early October, and from late October to early January, the bass start feeding heavily in preparation for spawning. The actual spawn happens in phases around the full moon, sometimes more than once, from late November through early April. Post-spawn kicks off in February and lasts until May when our summer begins again! 😉

been waiting for this video! thanks Mike! this makes me wonder though, where would the fish go for fall in a small reservoir that is like a uniform bowl with no points or humps or drainage?
@mikeiaconellifishing2 ай бұрын
Good question! I would look for any inflow of water coming into that bowl there should still be water getting in somehow. Also look for minute changes where it could cause them to be. Might not be as obvious but there are relating to something!

Great video, i learned a lot! Ive got a lake that im fishing at (well three lakes connected by extremely shallow creeks) There are piles of baitfish in those creeks but i mever see or get hits from any predators (bass/pike lake). Would you fish the mouth of those creeks?
@michealsmith101Ай бұрын
The scientific problems with these fish "transitions" is, as far as I know, non-typical weather patterns. Like this ENTIRE week, Rain, Rain Rain Rain!!!! for 4 days, now what is that going to do to the fish? Will they start the Fall transition early? I'm fairly new to Bass fishing, only my 3rd year, I've learned A LOT from you Mr. Iaconelli and I appreciate the detailed videos, they have really helped me land more and bigger fish.
@valleycraftblades11 күн бұрын
The only thing rain really affects is there appetite at the time. They seem to eat more before the rain and slow down while it's raining. But after it clears up it's pretty much back to normal. But I still get bit I just wouldn't throw a topwater while it's raining.

Hi Mike - Up here in New England at what water temperature does a Craws Metabolism slow down and they start to burrow into the rocks to spend the winter months ? Are all the bait fish 3plus inches now or are there still some small ones from a late summer hatch? Does the Gillie come in an Alewife imitation for fishing brackish rivers and ponds that are connected by an inlet to the Ocean??

Here in the Upper Bay I was catching the majority of my fish (sometimes 40 in a couple hours) in the creeks already while the water was in the 90's. So if that's the case and they're already there, what do I do to adjust? I was smacking em on wacky worms and slow moving plastics during that time. I guess I just stay in the same areas and start throwing the moving baits.. Last year this time I had a decent bit of success running a whopper plopper right down thick weed edges in the morning/evening.
