Ultimasaurus imperatrix was something that cropped up on the fly and helping flesh it as well as the OG variant out was good fun in speculative biology. Often at times when we think hybrids, we kinda default to thinking it must be superior to its components as a gestalt. But, mixing traits rarely works that way. The crux of U.imperatrix was to create an animal that still fit the general shape of the classic Ultimasaurus, but balance out the body type so the components complimented one another. Very proud of how this one came out as the visuals and narration were very on point and really brought it all together.

The Ultimasaurs 2.0 seems like it would be a perfect gladiator in the GojiCenter Arena. I think it would awesome if you guys went into a detailed analysis of what would happen if other dinosaurs, like the Indominus, Spino, or Indoraptor encountered the Imperitrix. Or even better, what would happen if the Imperitrix was in the Monsterverse and it fought against something like a Skullcrawler? Or the Whitespikes from The Tomorrow War? I'd love to see a video going in depth on what this thing could do. But one thing in this video makes me wonder. The Ultimasaurus Imperitrix is only 15 percent carnivore. It is mostly made up of herbivorous dinosaurs. So that begs the question, does it behave like an herbivore? Does it eat like an herbivore? Or is the T.Rex in it predominant enough to make it behave and react to threats like a carnivore? It's something that I think would make a good topic for a sequel video. I love the content, guys. From what I looked up, albeit briefly, that last phrase was not part of the original saying (though neither was “master of none”). And then there was a later variation which added that third part, as a way to turn the saying back into a compliment.

So, according to the Chaos Effect toy line, the Ultimasaurus was created post the events of Jurassic Park. The hybrids were created because after losing Wu (either due to his death in the book, or because he clearly stopped working for InGen for some time after the events of the first movie), InGen's remaining scientists struggled to restore the lost processes Wu used. With the facilities on the islands essentially lost, they were mostly starting from scratch. Because of this, the best they could do was work with the already present genomes of the currently restored animals by sampling from living animals. The goal was to make animals which were much easier to control, so they tried blending the animals and often under the faulty premise that integrating herbivore DNA, it'd make them more docile and easier to control. It did not work outside of the one which was hybridized with canine DNA. In fact, the most violent members of the Chaos Effect line were all carnivore/herbivore hybrids. Ultimasaurus was supposed to (narratively, at least) have ended up as the most aggressive of the lot, and it was intended to be the size of Tyrannosaurus Rex. The toy sizes actually didn't line up with the actual sizes of the animals. Amargospinus was described to be the size of a Brachiosaurus, and its toy was nowhere near that in scale. Because of its hyper aggression, I don't know if it could function in a social manner, or even attempt to do so. The only animal which had what I'd call a stable and normal psyche was the Ankyloranodon. The Ultimasaurus was the polar opposite of this, with the box being planned to describe the animal as utterly unpredictable. In the end, InGen spent more money on Chaos Effect than perhaps the original Jurassic Park, with the best technology on the planet dedicated to making these animals and the equipment of its men (including exo-skeleton frames and aircraft). Though a couple of designs had promise, the general theme seems to be that it happens around the same time as The Lost World and the arrival of Hammond's team results in the project's failure. Perhaps in large part because InGen hired the same team, but with Dieter Stark having a greater leadership role.. And we know how effective he was. His toy even featured strange tubes connecting into his flesh from his gear and whatever he was injecting himself with had turned his hair stark white (pun intended), so he may have been even more unstable than before. Of note, a baby Ultimasaurus did get released and it was with a heavily equipped Roland Tembo. The Chaos Effect animals never seemed to be described as breeding, so I'm not sure if he was supposed to be its handler, if it was intended to have any kind of special relationship with him, or if it was supposed to represent Roland using the "take a chick to lure the adults" technique. But the relationship with Roland and the Ultimasaurus seems to be important. From there we can pretty clearly tell the Ultimasaurus replaces the Tyrannosaurus Rex's role as the ultimate hunter in the Chaos Effect story. We can further confirm this because two entirely new Tyrannosaur hybrids were developed, resulting in larger and more dangerous versions of the already terrifying Rex. Both the Omega Rex and the Thrasher Rex were repaints of the bull and doe rexes, and both of their boxes describe them as basically the undisputed, most powerful dinosaurs ever. So I suspect the Ultimasaurus, which distinctly never had any kinds of descriptions like that attached to it, might've been bested by the pair in the story had it gone through. Namely since both animals seem to be "top dog", and the two animals are male and female, which to me means they ended up functioning as a non-competing team. Further evidence of this involves the fact that the Omega Rex specifically cites the Ultimasaurus as being able to match it in battle. If that's the case though, then it took two genetically enhanced Tyrannosaurs to defeat the Ultimasaurus. Which at this point is just speculation, but we really don't have a lot to go off of at this point beyond what I've already written out. Which would then mean the Ultimasaurus could probably take on pretty much everything in the JP franchise to date, and probably devastate even the mighty Indominus Rex. Truly, there's never been an InGen dinosaur quite as awe inspiring as the Ultimasaurus, which perhaps best of all of InGen's creations embodies the very concept of Chaos Theory, and the lessons Crichton had hoped to instill in his novel involving mankind and tampering with the infinite complexity of life. Anyway, it seems like maybe you guys weren't quite as familiar with the toyline, so I thought I'd just do an info vomit there in case you ever feel like doing a follow up video on Ultimasaurus! =)

I could totally see these guys being pack creatures. Raptor DNA plus 3 herd type herbivores. Assuming that is the case, I could see rudimentary to moderate pack tactics being a thing. Not quite to the level of raptors, but certainly a considerable level. Taking that into account and assuming a pack size of no less than 3, but likely double or more, I could absolutely see these things being an apex species (albeit not as individuals). The 2.0 version, ironically, would be even more pack inclined, even though they'd lack the raptor disposition for tactics. I'd imagine groups (if they did exist) would only consist of mating pairs or odd groups of no more than four simply due to the massively increased caloric intake-which ironically makes them fall more in line with Rex behavior (as I understand it). Still, more than one of the refined versions is still basically a death sentence for anything we've seen so far in the Jurassic Universe.

We have to consider that the Ultimasaur probably required a lot of maintenance, such as wearing its horns, supplementing its diet for keratin, and the enrichments necessary for an intelligent animal. The biggest problem being its need to socialize, as mentioned, it would probably have to exist with others of its kind, instead of base genomes, otherwise you'd end up with another Indominus or Indoraptor, solitary animals like this are hardly healthy animals. I can also imagine a penchant to consume vegetation, to wear its beak and reinforce its armor.

The way the Ultima will use it's tail, with the right maneuver (and not standing still) he should be able to use a strong tail attack. And mostly against bigger opponents 2. I think that the Ultima can use a charged attack but because of the way the body is build and the high point of gravity, the Ultima will have to have a lot of momentum and attack only bigger opponents. 3. Because there are a few concepts of the Ultima (in the video) some things will not work the same. For example, the idea that a bigger opponents will catch the frill of the Ultima, if there will be spikes on the frill (like one of the concept) it will not be possible so......

I could see it on the defensive staying on all fours, eyes locked on the aggressor while the tail just being a warning flag since the other dinos are VERY familiar with the tail club/spikes, especially when they're together. Color palette being a deterrent as well like a poison frog. All depends on how that predator knows how to use its armament, but since it's a one of a kind aberration to nature...chances are it wouldn't be as effective since that's too many instinctual habits into one dino. That chemical mix must be Hell to fixate since it doesn't seem like it'd have a senior to "teach" it (No telling how it'd interact with a sibling with that much mismatched DNA and attributes) and like the Indominus, it'd probably go the mess around and find out tactic since it has near zero idea what it is or what its place is in the ecosystem is since it'll just see parts instead of another of its kind. Then again, nature, uhh, finds a way

As someone who's taken college physics, I wanted to point out something that you guys sort of missed out on. The main thing I wanted to point out is some basic physics. Imperatrix is FAR bulkier and has more grappling pounts with the ground, meaning although a bit slower, it would be significantly better at ramming, and charging. The basic idea of force equals mass * acceleration would make this thing hit with a lot of force when charging. Yes, speed wise, it would definitely have a lower top speed than its original incarnation, I would argue it would have better acceleration due to its larger, far stronger limbs and its ability to be quadrapedal when needed. All that, combined with the very strong neck, would mean that this thing would have no issue penetrating through most dinosaurs. The sheer amount of force and energy concentrated into the tip of the horns would mean that this thing would hit very hard, but would also have insane penetration upon initial impact. However, my concern with this idea of it having great ramming / charging potential is the tencil strength of the horns. I would argue that in some cases, if the horns encounter a large surface area or much thicker surface, they may easily crack or snap just from the sheer amount of kinetic energy they would be carrying with them. In my opinion, Imperatrix would be better if it had sharp, but stubbier horns, so that its already dense and muscular neck and head build could help cope with Newton's third law. Making it more into a battering ram would more than likely, make it a more effiecient predator. It would partially remove the weakness of predators being able to grapple onto its horns/fill and topple this creature, while also making it so that this creature could very easily charge at something, knock it over while inflicting some penetration and shock damage, and then finish off said creature with its powerful forelimbs or strong bite. Ideally, you would also want to mix a teeny bit of pachy DNA in with it so that it has a thicker skull above its brain better for giving/recieving strong impacts.

I never came up with a name for it admittedly, but I'm glad I didn't because I wasn't aware of how vulnerable it would really be. So I started from scratch and tried again. This time the DNA consist's of 40% Tenontosaurus, 20% Animantarx, 15% Stokesosaurus, 15% Zuniceratops, and 10% Troodon. I ended up calling it Ultimodon. I hope I did math right, and I hope to post it on Facebook when I get a working Computer again. In the meantime and if you have time, let me know what you think of this idea of a smaller version of this Hybrid and if it's okay.

The ultimasaurus is by far my most favorite hybrid of all time. I am rather sad to see that this predator is actually more nerfed than I thought. However, I do believe that all is not lost for this beautiful creature. Let me explain: first, the legs are a bit overlooked in terms of construction since both t-rex and raptor's legs are of similar build, the growth process would combine best parts of both worlds with the legs now able to bear more weight while still powerful enough to allow sudden bursts of speed and leap just to utilize it's horns to inflicts more damage. Next thing is to take notice is it's behavior and incubation process. Surely, more than one specimen should be cheaper and more practical than just to make one at a time. The reason this is important is because it probably has siblings, and with the combined behaviors of raptors, triceratops, and stegosaurus would make a great pack animal. Meaning it would work in groups and would protect one another if things get hairy. In other words: even though they would be smaller than the heavy weights, they'll do make it up in numbers. Finally, there is communication, you already covered the other species, but what about the Indominous rex? And what about the indoraptor for that matter? All three hybrids are capable of communicating with each other. The indomminous rex tried this with Blue's pack, so what makes this different? And let's don't forget how intelligent the raptos are in this universe. Take that into consideration. I personally believe the ultima is still the ultimate super predator.

@KingGhidorahofDeath { Aka HydragonofDeath } first, the scopruis charges in blindly, perfect for the ultimosarus to get a hold of it and crush it with its powerful bite force, not to mention the scorpuis isnt protected as well as the ultima, its naked with no defense, meaning it would get slashed up and Easily towrn through and it lacks intelligence. secondly the ultimosarus is more durable and well protected from the indoraptor, it's hide is literally thick anklyosaurus armor, protecting its neck and back. And it its heavier meaning it could easily over powere the light built indoraptor. and has a stronger bite force, thanks to the rex dna. and would be stronger. It slays them both, and the indoraptor had bullet proof skin, but that wouldn't stop the ultimosarus from easily tearing through it. As its skin isn't dense enough for such force. Only bullets. If the indoraptor gets close enough its over, including the scorpuis, although the indoraptor is intelligent, that wouldn't really help it against a creature that's heavier, It could target the leg sides, but that wouldn't help it much, as it would need to get in range to do some attacks, and soon as it's close enough the ultima could grab it and hold on to it tearing at the indoraptor. Although it lacks speed, it's a good fighter. Any large herbivore, or carnivore would slay it. I ultimosarus > indoraptor > scopruis but indoraptor and scorpuis? No. Edit: sorry for typing so much. Not sure if you'll actually read this.

@@solar-jaymi The scorpius is larger than the ultimasaur though and can withstand a bite due to its durability. The armor of the ultimasaur only covers its back and tail, leaving its sides completely exposed, the ultimasaur being unbalanced will allow the scorpius to knock it over easily. As gojicenter has already analyzed in a previous video, the indoraptor would be intelligent enough to defeat the scorpius, it would have no problem figuring out a way to take down a smaller, much slower ultimasaur.

@KingGhidorahofDeath { Aka HydragonofDeath } KingGhidorahofDeath { Aka HydragonofDeath } the scopruis Is taller, but the ultimosarus is heavier, scorpuis wouldn't be able to knock somthing that heavy easily, and you may bring up the brachi scene, but the scopruis didnt actually take down the brachi with its brute stregnth, The brachi was being attacked off screen, being slashed and dug into while the scopruis was on its back beneath the trees. then it cut to the scene of it sucumning to its wounds Making it look like it went down quickly. And yeah the ultimas side is exposed, but that doesn't mean it's gonna go down easily, as it could turn and grab the scorpuis, or indoraptor, and the scorpuis would still lose despite being taller, it blindly charges in without a second thought, it has no armor or any protection at all, it would easily get towrn through by the claws of the ultimosarus. and it's not as intelligent either, one good bite would kill both animals. And the ultimosarus wouldn't be unbalanced, as it would stand It's ground in a defense position. It can still stand very well, it's just not as fast, it would wait for it's targets to get in range, which is what the indoraptor and scorpuis would need to do. And do to the scopruis rex jaw deformity, it's bite wouldn't be as strong either.. the ultimosarus isn't fast, but it can still turn quickly sense it has a smaller build. I don't see the indoraptor getinng passed the ultimosarus without geting grabbed or bit. Targeting the sides wouldn't help it much, as the ultimosarus could turn around easily, one bite it's over. It's bite force would suprase the indoraptor, and scopruis. The ultimosarus would arguably be intelligent as the indoraptor do to its raptor dna as well. And the ultimosarus skin would be more dense do to its short bulky build.
