The problem with scale of that skeleton is that the scale of Shimo changes at least twice in the film. At one point Shimo looks large enough to rag doll Godzilla with ease, but then at the end Kong gives Shimo's head a hug and she seems much smaller, which just shows that they weren't observing continuity properly.

Calling these things Titans in of itself sounds like a disservice. My head canon is that these were incredibly ancient "Primordials," creatures that were the first to take advantage of the Hollow Earth's radiation. Like this video said, they would die off because they wouldn't be able to feed themselves because of their great size, and either die off, or evolve into the Titans we see today.

Ice age 3 and GxK are the same movie: -Giant Skeleton Bridge that links two parts of the world. -One threat is a colossal white creature, that is tamed and ridden by one of the mammalian protagonists at the end of the movie. -Said white creature is driven to kill by a pointy object that was taken from them by a mammalian creature that is much smaller than itself. -Also, when the giant white creature is revealed, they come out of a cave. -The giant white creature makes a appearance in a volcanic area. -Another giant lizard-like creature, who is afraid of the giant white creature, allies with the other mammalian protagonists after they scuffle for a while, and at the end of the film, they team up to stop the giant white creature. -The ice age is mentioned during the movie's runtime. -Mammalian Protag 'adopts' a child that isn't theirs, ends up going deep underground with them, crossing the aforementioned giant skeleton bridge in the process.

That's the consequence of adding things in just "because." If it stands out, people are going to discuss or question it. You don't watch Game of Thrones for a random footguard soldier to have a sword of valerian steel. People see that and will ask what his importance is, where he's from, if there's something further down the line for him. It's one thing if it's small, maybe it can be excused as a production error. But a skeleton of this size in a universe where it's all about giant, destructive monsters? And it's bigger than all of them combined? And it's dead, which means it was alive at some point? I'm not a Monster Universe fan or anything, but come on.

9:26 It's probably been noted before, but this isn't all that true. Crocodiles past a certain age cease to replace their teeth, among other signs of aging (including becoming more vulnerable to disease). They very much do die of old age on a regular basis, at least in captivity. Usually dying of things other than aging is true of animals in general in the wild.
@orchidraindrops4 ай бұрын
I feel like true death from old age is usually organ failure or cancer due to the weathering of DNA and cells. Loosing their teeth is definitely a sign of aging but really they starve to death before their organs give out. They are quite an efficient organism in that aspect having evolved for their "lifespan" to be longer than their bodies physical capacity to support them (But people who arent familiar with this stuff do tend to equate that to immortality which isnt even close to true)
@Ryodraco4 ай бұрын
@@orchidraindrops crocodilians do not chew their food, so losing their teeth does not prevent them from eating. It just makes it harder to grab things, and makes them unable to tear off chunks from prey that is too big to swallow whole (and prey that size makes up a minority of their diet anyway). Point being, I recall no study indicating old crocodilians typically die of starvation. Heck, plenty still have some teeth when they die of old age.

I love stuff like this and makes me glad to see they remain mostly unexplained in canon. The fact that structures like these are kept mysterious and has people just guessing and theorizing what the creature could have been like is the best and fascinating part about these things. Sure they could reveal a mega titan and have it wreak havoc on the world but I personally like them being handled like this more

5 questions that could be great ideas for topics in the future for episodes: 1:Which one out of these 4 iconic jurassic (I-rex, Rexy, The spino, and Blue) would be the best at surviving/adapting to Peter Jacksons Skull island? 2: who would win if you took every single godzilla from all eras and put them in a battle royal (except earth for obvious reasons)? 3: What if godzilla never existed in the MonsterVerse? 4: would monsterverse godzilla stand a chance against SCP-001 when day breaks? 5: If godzilla didn't have his atomic breath in any of the monster verse movies, would he have survived without it? Hey Goji Center, I had some ideas for using God of War content in future videos. There’s plenty of material for 10 Ways to die videos given just how many monsters there are in the franchise. There could be a video on if Kratos could take down the Monsterverse Titans. It’s true he’s defeated bigger creatures in the past but none of them had the unique abilities of Godzilla and crew. If he has too much trouble fighting them one on one, he has the option to have Atreus fight with him, which would give him the option to call in Fenrir and the World Serpent for aid. I’d also love to see a battle analysis between Cronos and the Monsterverse Titans considering he’s 4 times taller than Godzilla. When it comes to Godzilla it may be a similar situation to the Rumbling video where bigger isn’t always better since Cronos’s size will just make him a bigger target for Godzilla’s heat ray. The flying titans like Rodan and Mothra darting around him doing hit and run attacks and Kong fighting Cronos with his axe would be particularly cool to see since Kong already fights like a scaled up version of Kratos. Ghidorah can blast him with energy beams without even getting close and he also has an advantage that even if Cronos caught and tore him apart, Ghidorah could just regenerate.

They were probably all around similar sizes, but as their depleting food source became more scarce, evolution stepped in. Also, since radiation is responsible for their size, one would assume that the less radiation available, the smaller newborn titans would be, until one day they’re no bigger than the common house cat.
