a few problems 1- if the skull crawler's tail is such a good weapon for grabbing and throwing things, can't it also use it to grab giant boulders and rocks to throw them at the giga from a safe distance? after all, the battleground does take place in a rocky setting. 2- Wouldn't the skullcarwler be smart enough to not swing its tail in the face of a new and seemingly dangerous enemy and therefore place it in a vulnerable position? if not, why? 3- the part where the skull crawler and giga(in its rage mode) are running at each other and the giga happens to be in the right position or the skull crawler's arm happens to be in the wrong position to be bitten is very convenient. I think the skull crawler would be smart enough to not let that happen; after all, we don't get to see the skullcrawler place its arms in a vulnerable state in the movie, so why here? 4. Why wouldn't the skullcrawler just use the same strategy of retreating, hiding, and then charging over and over again until the giga is dead?

@@firenze6478 I thought it was pretty clear: He was easily toppled by Ramarak, so there wasn't really a need to throw him. Then Ramarak tried to whip him and lost his tail, so he couldn't even try to grapple him anymore. Consider this: If the Giga was thrown away too far he can recover before Ramarak can reach him. But if he gets knocked over, he's in a vounerable position with Ramarak right above him.

@@firenze6478 It's because Ramarack didn't try throwing the Giga, he tried to pull him to the ground. You can't resist being picked up, but you can resist someone pulling your arm. Same concept. It became a pulling contest and because the skull crawler lifted one of its legs trying to take a step it lost too much grip and was flung by the Giga. I have an analogy: You and your friend are fighting. You are both strong enough to throw eachother. He tries to pull on your arm to knock you over. If your feet are right next to eachother, you fall over with little resistance. If you have a wide stance you just start to both pull against eachother. But because your friend tries to take a step back to pull you harder, you have the chance to pull his arm and knock him over. You're the Giga, your friend is Ramarack.

The rage mode isn’t a matter of anger issues as it’s always angry (according to Helena Walker). It’s a survival instinct gone extreme, an adrenaline rush made in a last ditch attempt at survival at any cost. It’s an exaggerated form of the theoretical “fight-or-flight” response.

Now this one I can actually see heading this way. The Ark Giganotosaurus is certainly an utter beast of a dinosaur from what I've heard secondhand, and having a solid killing implement is always helpful in fights involving Superspecies who can often take all manner of other kinds of trauma without issue. Of course, it makes you wonder how the larger Apex-created Alpha Skullcrawlers from GvK (also seen in *Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers* ) would fare in these matchups!

If he doesn't kill fast, and eat soon he will run out of stamina, and act brashly. Unlike some people, these animals will not act calm or collected in a high-stakes battle.

GojiCenter already discussed this in an older video, bit even the Giga in the dossier is like 5x bigger than the dinosaurs on Jurassic World. Consider that the V-Rex, at most, is twice the size of the T-Rex, Arks Giga is demolishing Kong. To Kong's credit, he could and would jump around and throw projectiles, slowly wearing down the Giga while keeping his distance.

That was the awesome episode! I was rooting for Skull Devil but I didn’t underestimate the Ark Giga due to its armor and strong bite, plus being heavier because this battle can go either way! The battle was intense and awesome! The music during the battle was also awesome! You did the amazing job on this Monster Face-Off and you put the lot of effort to episode! hm, I fully intended to go down in stubborn support of Ramarak due to spite towards the Giga after it decimated Site B, but Ramarak actually performed better than I anticipated, being a much closer battle than predicted, and that, even though he lost, in other circumstances/terrains, he would have a higher chance of winning; so an interesting feeling of both losing and winning at the same time, well done

Yep skull crawler gave one hell of a fight but in the end it was a matter of the X factor that and the skull crawler was probably spending way to much energy as it was so was making more mistakes but in any other circumstances it could really go either way in one terrain its the most likely the giga in the other its most likely the skull crawler either way its a fun match up

I love the little detail that, for once, this is a matchup of giant wild animals where they _WOULD_ choose to fight to the death instead of one of them backing off for self-preservation. Unlike the T. Rex and Palaeoloxodon, who would have the mental faculties and survival instincts to not pick a serious fight with each other (or other big animals) if it can be helped, the ARK's Giga being immensely territorial and aggressive and Ramarak possessing perpetual hunger and adrenaline-boost means that neither of them would probably think to go "nah, this is not that deep, peace out".

Hmm, don’t know if I agree Giga would win based off the analysis. Seems the odds are more in favor of the skullcrawler despite Giga’s rage mode. Nonetheless, great fight simulation! The channel has come a long way!

I figured the skullcrawler would loose when a piece of it's tail went flying lol. It can yeet the giga a couple of hundred meters away like it did to kong onto a rock or something and cripple it. Rage mode or not ark's giga probably isn't getting up with a broken limb. Once the tail was gone it's chances greatly diminished.

@ for how many times the skullcrawler slammed into that giga, slammed it into the ground, or tripped it off its feet, a dinosaur that big falling that hard isn’t going to get up with ease. That dinosaur is going to have broken bones. Regardless, that giga would get out in its place every day of the week by Kong if it were roaming on skull island.
