This could've been in minus one and it would not have looked out of place at all! Seriously! This just proves how beautiful and awesome this version if Godzilla was by being the perfect remake of the original 1954 masterpiece! This is amazing, spectacular, astounding, and judt well done! The fact that the roar sounds so broken just adds to how deeply these two gojis are connected!!! I didn't even realize how Noriko falling in the street was so similar to this scene! 🤯

初代リアルタイムで見てた世代とかでは全然ないので、思い出補正とかはないと思うんだけど、 純粋に「恐怖」という意味では、やっぱ初代の左右非対称な感じとか、顎がズレてる感じとか、目の焦点のあってない感じとか歪な肌の質感とかのほうが「怖い」と感じる。 デザイン的にマイゴジは「令和にデザインされた洗練した感じ」というか、なんかそういうのを感じてしまうんだよな‥‥。

I love the edit...but to be quite frank: the original shot always looks the best, even though it's a puppet. It's real, not CGI. It's organic, not digital magic. It's physical presence makes it all the more real, and thus more frightening. Plus, the older design of Godzilla was just far more disturbing, rather than awe-inspiring...which is why it works the best, IMO.

やはりゴジラは中にスーツアクターの中島春雄さんが演じるゴジラが一番好きです、何せ中島春雄さんがゴジラに選ばれたのはファイヤースタントを日本で一番最初にされた方だからその度胸で選ばれたのでしょうね。 初回ゴジラの出演者とスタッフの方々を尊敬します、特に芹沢博士役の平田昭夫 さんはゴジラをオキジェントデストロイアで倒しそしてウルトラマンでゼットン倒したミサイル発明、幼心に凄い人と思いましたよ。
