Esoteric Surgery refers to the Hermetic idea of Mental Transmutation. Transmuting your negative mental state into a positive one, can save you from the abyss life puts us into sometimes.

Anatomy of the spirit. Take this a step further. Your external reality mirrors your internal being. If you heal your mind and spirit, your body will follow.

I've been listening to the likes of Vinnie Paul, John Merryman, and Pete Hammoura for over 2 decades now, but Super Mario Duplantier is without argument the absolute best and most supreme drummer in all of metal. His power, precision, and discretion are unparalleled. Every bar, every beat, every single strike is pure perfection. Otherworldly musicianship about which enough can never be said.

Joe Deplantier's guitar playing is the best variation on Trey Azagthoth's (of Morbid Angel) playing I have ever heard. The influence is palpable, but without it being a mere generic ripoff.
