hello Dave , it's always a pleasure to see you headbang to a Gojira song and then stop and say :"wait , there's something different here ; it's still the same but it's different" - what better definition of Gojira can you give !!! - a bit disapointed by the score though , but hey , it's your show.the tapping & singing is actually pretty difficult to execute ( believe me ) and Mario (the drummer) is just a beast ( and a creative one too ) - I hope you'll react to more Gojira soon , here's my suggestion ( if you haven't done it yet ) : Pray (live at red rock )

I literally get chills when Mario hits those drums and this is a song I listen to a lot. It's on my playlist with Meshuggah, Behemoth and Lamb of God (among others). He is my favourite drummer. Love him so much.

Hey Dave Once agin fair enough score Brixton Imo is one of thier best performances Mario is a monster and has influenced my playing in so many ways Even in thier heaviest songs Joe Duplantier always inserts melody into his vocals in places you wouldn't expect it Jean-Micheal is the happiest bassist I've ever seen lol and Christian the rhythm guitarist is one of the most consistent disciplined players out there This whole show is a winner Gojira are a band best appreciated live They didn't show it in this song but during their shows they always change postions on stage during the longer instrumentals Thx Dave ✌️🤘🧐😎

Thanks David ,glad you discover Gojira more and more , Mario the drummer has been nominated 4 times or something best drummer , he has a solo channel. A couple of points here : yeah repetition ,tapping ,is one of the trademark of Gojira , they like to put a riff in a loop ( remember flying whales ) it comes from their tribal influence something like that , like being in a trans on a rythm.It can be boring some tho . Also the guitars ,the thin is that they're not shredder ,always have been a rythm band soi guesss they play with their limitation. Interaction , well i would say you can't judge an entire show based on one clip :p naah they are very cool guys ,Joe talk often to the crowd Dynamic , well they're getting old ,it's 28 years old band ..if you watch some stuff from their prime 2009 they were more dynamic on stage But yeah many tracks to dive into , have fun :)
