This second Gojira album is a powerhouse. Bought it when it came out, I have the 2003 Boycott edition. So 20 years have passed, I haven't listened to it in a long time, I must say it's still a great listen today 🤘🌳🤘

This album is way ahead of its time and there's nothing quite like it. Its basically from space compared to how predictable and basic modern metal has become. It has so many weird sounds, cadences, transitions. The link itself is like 3 different songs. Tons of genres sprinkled across the album. Truly is a visionary masterpiece given how young they were when they made it.

I can only dream that Gojira will tap into these experimental stuff again. What we can do is cherish this album every single day, I've been doing this for years.

Even though i got introduced to Gojira during a live set with "The way of all flesh" album/tour i can really appreciate their older stuff but TWOAF still remains my favorite, partly because of my amazing experience of them live. Remembrance is so powerful though, no scratch that this whole album is powerful

Gojira sound literally nothing like Sepultura bro, i could go into a number of different nuances about both bands music which make them completely different but i fear you would be too stupid to understand so i will keep it on the most basic b**ch level i can for you. They arent even the same metal sub genre. Gojira have never been a thrash band and Sepultura have never played progressive death metal.
