It amazes me that people relate them as father and son. Gojo was 19 when he took Megumi. I imagine he had his own shit going on. Knowing his personality he was not a father figure. That’s not to say he wasn’t a fairly good influence. Buts what…14-17 years older than Megumi? That’s more like a way older brother. And the way they interact he’s an annoying older brother that your parents had at a younger age 😂😂

Being "father figure" is not always about "age difference". Look at Toji who was 10 years older than Gojo, abandoned his son when he was still so little that even Megumi did not remember his face, only remember Megumi when he's dying. Then there's 17 year old Boy (Gojo was born on December 7th in 1989, Megumi was born on December 22th in 2002, they met around August 2007 based on wiki jjk page) stepped up to care about what Little Megumi wanted and became his Legal Guardian. See the difference? I don't judge Toji, some people are just not meant to be father and it's okay. I think Yuta is more like big brother or senpai Megumi respected. Not everyone have "annoying" big brother. I am the oldest one among my siblings so I get it when some think of Gojo as "father figure" to Megumi. Megumi seemed often to look annoyed by Gojo's behaviour but he appreciated what Gojo did for him and his step sister. In manga chapter extra he said he owed his life to Gojo. Also in recent arc of manga he tried to save Megumi from U-knowho. Sorry long post, thanks for reading 😂❤

it's not about age it's about behaviour, kinda like how so many elder sisters tend to partly raise their younger siblings if the parents are negligent (and regardless of the parents' behaviour they still tend to partly raise their younger siblings if these are much younger lol trust me). gojo took care of megumi and raised him and still look after him beyond a teacher's responsibility now. gojo's personality is more than him being childish, if you look below the surface he's also responsible and cares deeply. when you watch their meeting from gojo's pov you can see he took it way more seriously than what he let megumi see
