Then it makes no sense that Sukuna can use binding vows in their fight and Gojo can't. With binding vows the greater the ability you're gonna trade, the greater the effect you're gonna get. Six eyes and limitless being the most OP ability in the series means the effect can transcend humanity. Gojo can go back to living by sacrificing his 6 eyes ability. That way he won't be OP and fans will be happy. I think it's much more interesting to do something original with Gojo, show him being weak or normal, rather then getting rid of him in the story. If he's not planning to revive him it's just bad writing on Gege part, that's all. And you have no idea how many people he pissed by doing that. He's basically the most popular character in the series.

One way to have him come back without really having him come back would be to let him return as a cursed spirit or curse object to power up Yuji. But I don‘t know if that‘s even possible to create a curse object of Gojo like Sukuna‘s fingers and him being a cursed spirit is probably unlikely too, as the conditions are quite different compared to Rika. Also, the question is if Yuji really needs a power up like this with him having blood manipulation and maybe a domain expansion too

Then was stabbed in the chest right after and then beat that person with all those injuries then took more slashes and won against all of them. Then had another arm sliced off with barely any energy left and is still standing for chapters going forward. This is why I love you Ryomen Sukuna you are the true best and always will be.

Me personally I see that Vol. cover as Gojo being surprised by something, most likely Sukuna's world slash. Him waking up seems like a huge stretch. Especially since Vol. 26 will end with chapter 236 which is Gojo's death. Don't quote me on this but I believe Gege said he forgot a chapter/page before Gojo's death and considering that Volumes can be used to correct or add anything missed by the mangaka its more than likely that Vol. cover is the page we are getting before Gojo dies.
