Can you imagine what it would be like to have the six-eyes ? You see *everything*. He can even see other's cursed energy fluctuate. He probably can map on every person's personality, feelings, and thoughts through their unique expression of their CE. It's like Daredevil from Marvel knowing when his best friend is about to lie because he can hear his heart rate increase. That'd make communicating in a genuine manner with anyone close to impossible. Great video !! And when it comes to not realizing what's going on with Geto, I think it's a mixture of immaturity and just "Geto ?? Naaaaah he'd never."

Great video analysis. Gojo won the latest popularity poll from Weekly Shonen Jump for JJK and the prize was a Satoru Gojo booklet with things such as a Q and A from Gege. It gives even more context for Gojo with some parts related to his upbringing in his clan: His parents are alive. He didn't have normal relationships established with his family being the prize of the clan he is and was seperated from his parents young to begin his training. The scene of him on the streets by himself as a kid when assassins were after him was him running away from home to have fun. So additional info like that and more was good to get. You can look up the translations for the interview if want to see the full thing and get more information on Gojo. Even though we can infer that Gojo never had a close relationship with his family, wish we had some of this context in the series itself for Gojo related to his clan. Just adding a bit more to the foundation for Gojo. Regardless, it's nice to at least get more context of why he is the way he is for his mentality from his origins. He's always been defined by his strength because he's never known anything else from how he was raised, which is why Geto's question about his identity shook him to his core.
@LazerMonarch2 ай бұрын
1:06:27 This isnt a fully accurate translation, in the manga sukuna says "you were magnificent satoru gojo", this isn't the exact translation. The more accurate translation was about an idiom, which meant "You have cleared my skies satoru gojo". IMO this is much more impactful, and shows sukuna'a poetic way with words. As if sukuna was in a stormy night all this time, unsure and alone at the top, gojo brought him closure, assuring sukuna that he was indeed the strongest. "You have cleared my skies" shows sukuna's gratefulness and admiration of gojo, as he was the only who could understand sukuna, and vice versa.
@LessonsFromAnime2 ай бұрын
Interesting, I actually really like the "magnificent" line but it's definitely different. Wild how JJK varies so much depending on which translation you read. p.s. thanks for watching all the way through!

I love how you explore the tension between his overwhelming power and his internal struggles, especially when it comes to his isolation and responsibility. It’s fascinating how his strength shapes his identity, but also distances him from real connections, like his friendship with Geto. The video really makes you think about the cost of power, and whether being ‘The Strongest’ comes at too high a price for Gojo. Definitely a compelling character study!

@@LessonsFromAnime Makes sense! You must've put a ton of time into the video and I would think the most common worry would be that most people night not resonate with a longer video on just a single character (or like other people might not "care" about the small details or think about a character like an actual human), but how you weave different components of the canonical story and your own observations is so enjoyable to hear /watch! Btw, Tengen is female. All Plasma Vessels are, Tengen herself tells people to think of her as “an old granny” or something along those lines, and in one of those extra art pieces Gege depicts human Tengen from the Heian era as a young female with messy and wild hair and in traditional robes

Very fun watch. I arrived to almost all of your points and this helped kinda solidify my opinion on him as a character (which I do think is quite misunderstood by the majority of the fanbase). [SPOILER WARNING] I think something interesting to touch on is how when yuta was in gojos body he couldn't really do it was well as gojo did which futher solidifies the whole theme of, although gojo was seen as a weapon by others around him, the reason WHY he was the strongest was not because of his birthright but because he was gojo. I also think yuta, who is one of the more stronger characters, actually fighting for gojo and like giving that big speech about how no one understands gojos burden was very sweet and goes to show how their relationship is unique. I doubt gojo knew about how much yuta cared, which is sad and adds to the loneliness. Great video! :]

I'm currently catching up to JJK (manga), and realised that the Sukuna Vs Gojo fight combined with the whole idea of 'the Strongest' really reminded of Maito Gai's fight with Hoshikage Kisame, and even his brief attempt at taking down Madara. It seems this troped shows up a bit more than we think in this realm of Manga/Anime. There is also One Punch-Man, but that seems to take the comedic approach to it.

23:18 I agree with ur sentiment but imo even with limitless+six eyes being the strongest power I think nobody but satarou gojo could use both of them to their fullest. It’s really shown and stated that when yuta tried to use gojos body he could barely even get attacks out and was just spamming everything with no clear indication how to use any of it. And I think the same would go for anybody who would have gojos power, they would lack the the sheer raw creativity of Gojo

@@souvikbose8282 definitely but yuta I would say has a higher understanding of others ct and using them to a higher degree (Jacob’s ladder as a example) he can pick up techniques that he barely used before and perform perfectly. main problem was the timer with the body hop and sukuna already knowing the counters for most of gojos kit. I don't really think that Gojo had anything romantic to say at Geto's end. Both of them viewed love as a curse, Geto with making creeped out faces whenever Gojo got chummy and Gojo outright saying that love's a curse. I think that last scene between Gojo n Geto in zero was Gojo thanking Geto for instilling a sense of moral in him, by being his friend, to do the right thing, which entails in him adopting Megumi n saving Yuta n Yuji, the same way Geto saved those two girls from that village albeit in a violent manner.

"Burn everything down, burn every down to a cinder without giving it a second thought" is what sukuna told jogo he could do "until he reached the height of gojo", but that line right there tells a lot about how little sukuna truly knows about the "height of satori gojo". Something that's not brought up as much is how we actually got an example of this line, someone who did this, and in truth, it was the person who understood gojo the best, geto. But yet he still couldn't reach the height of gojo.

Thanks for the upload. I’m really enjoying JJK content right now. I'm very excited to see how the ending of JJK plays out. Anime content creators like yourself go a long way in making series like this one more enjoyable. Thanks, again for the upload. Keep up the good work. Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, whoever looks with lust has already committed adultery in their heart. If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But God is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you.
